Excellent modern startup news app!!
I’m highly interested in SPV startup investing and I spend a lot of time reading through various startup and tech news sources that I find. There are certainly better outlets to get a more comprehensive financial or market analysis on a particular startup, but what I love about this app is that it replaces the oftentimes useless scrolling on social media with learning new insights. The interface allows you to swipe through a feed of news stories that you can choose to expand and read or just glance at the headline and continue scrolling. Simply by going through new stories everyday, I have improved my understanding of major events and trends in the startup world. I previously would’ve relied on Twitter/X for this, but I have found it to be much too crowded with noise and poor quality content. A very clever idea with great execution!

Best startup news app with amazing interface!
This app releases new stories everyday about the biggest events in the startup and tech world. There is no other app I could find that distills the top headlines in this space into concise summaries that are easy to digest. In less than 5-10 minutes on the way to work, I can read about and understand all the most recent funding rounds, launches, acquisitions, and IPOs. The summaries are executive style with no fluff and only the essential details. I have found the interface to be the BEST of any news app I’ve used - truly modern and elegant. Velocity has become a part of my daily routine and I could not recommend it more to others!

The best app for Morning Brew and TLDR Newsletter readers!!
I’ve been a reader of Morning Brew and TLDR Newsletters for the past year. Although I enjoy both, they have felt too noisy over time from how much content they publish. I wanted a much more streamlined view into key events in tech through executive summaries instead of longer style articles that can take 30+ minutes to read. Additionally, I’ve been hoping that someone would finally create a mobile app instead of emailed newsletters which feel outdated. This app delivers exactly what I was looking for and the interface feels incredibly modern and smooth. Excited for continued development and new features in the future!
