Could be good, but has long I corrected bugs
This app has a bug that presents itself nearly every day with the news stories. The headlines to the news stories are listed, but when you click on the story, the page shows up as blank with placeholders that say ‘label’.
I wrote directly to the developer, but no response. It appears that they rolled it out and simply didn’t check on it any more - which is pretty sloppy.
Maybe the race will partner with a different SW developer next time.

Not bad
The only feature I really use is the map tracking feature it works well on my iPad and it’s surprisingly fluid
Very cool!
So much fun on the iPad, to click and see them all every morning as I check other more depressing news. Useful, easy features on the map views. I’m a novice at following the race, and this is drawing me in, helping me to know individual boats and sailors.

Rankings?
I downloaded the app to be able to monitor the race. Unfortunately there is nothing about rankings or position on the map. So I’m not quite sure what the purpose on the app is...

Cannot get the app to work. Full of bugs
This app would be awesome...
If it worked. The last race had a great app this one crashes like the great waves of the three capes.
Missing tracker
Doesn’t look like there is a tracker. On the app or on the website.
Error 4864 on Startup
Pages all blank. Maybe it will clear as the race starts?
Trying to watch the departure
No info on why the race is delayed in the app. No live video. No tracker. If you want to look up info on the skippers or play the video game it’s fine but if you actually want to follow the race this app is kind of a joke.
Good app, dull icon
This looks even better than the 2016 version, in every way but one— why did they change the icon from the cool art of an IMOCA and the world in 2016 to just being the VG logo on a plain white background?
Disappointing
This app could be so much richer. Could not find anything about the race rules or the course. Too superficial.
