Working much better now
I was not a fan of this app when it first came out I don’t know if there was any updates that were done to it. We just started running our air-conditioning unit for the summer and the app has worked flawlessly this time. Thank you very much.

Easy & Worth the the investment
Love being able to use my phone to adjust AC and heat. Turn off unit summer and winter when traveling. Turn on an hour or so before returning.

Update mechanism
Four stars because the app often doesn’t update information for some time, or requires a restart to get fresh information, otherwise it works for standard control of the thermostat and does provide a lot of remote configuration options, which I appreciate.

We absolutely love our Venstar thermostat!! Works perfectly…easy…everything it was advertised to do!
Mostly Very Good
Every once in a great while, maybe 7-9 months- the app will glitch and stop working. The solution is to just delete it and then reinstall the app. The password is still saved and the app is back in business.

Lots of features, some minor issues that need to figure it out probably resulting from the many options interacting with one another.

Excellent app
I love being able to not know see real time what the temperature and the settings are inside of my house, upstairs, downstairs, or even in the garage, but then to manually override at the settings so if I needed to turn it on or off at any point in time in any of the three zones, I can do it

Been using this thermostat and app for over ten years. Friends that do not have the remote capability are always envious

Very intuitive, full featured UI. Complex features are available, but appropriately in a deeper layer of the UI. App is very stable and reliable.

Tech installed in minutes, WiFi connected and configured on app easily. Do have to learn more of its capabilities, and for future expansion of use.

Awesome app and very easy to use. The controls are simple, responsive, and make adjusting the temperature quick from anywhere. Setup was smooth and the app keeps everything running efficiently. Reliable performance and great features. Highly recommend for anyone using a Venstar thermostat.

Nice thermostat / lowers energy bill
Has many features to help reduce cooling and heating bills. Some features in owners guide could be better explained such as “Smart Fan” - I still don’t know how it’s smart.
Brand new install
Got it hooked up, I can control it from my phone !! Yea !! Enjoy being able to turn it on before I leave work, and it’s cool when I get home. Set up was a little of a learning curve at first, but it went rather smooth. I have two thermostats and setting up each became easy as we got into the program. Named them, and program lets you control each separately !! I’m enjoying it greatly !!

Great Thermostat
The thermostat is very easy to automate using Alexa. I use Alexa to set the temperature before bed and in the morning. It’s also easy to operate manually.
