What's New in VentoryCRM
1.0.3
August 16, 2026
This release is about speed, and about never losing work you've already done. FASTER, AND EASIER ON YOUR BATTERY The Field Service dashboard, the CRM dashboard and the calendar were refreshing over and over in the background — even while you were just sitting on the screen looking at them. That's fixed. Those screens are now idle when you're idle, which means noticeably less battery drain and a lot less mobile data on a long day in the field. The pull-to-refresh spinner also stops when it's finished, instead of spinning indefinitely. YOUR WORK STAYS PUT • Diagnostics readings no longer vanish. Tapping over to Parts or Checklist while you were entering refrigerant pressure, temp split or amps used to wipe everything you'd typed, with no warning at all. Your readings are now kept when you move between tabs, and the app asks before you leave a job with unsaved ones. • Edits made offline can no longer be overwritten by an older copy. If a change was still waiting to sync and you edited the same job again, the earlier version could quietly win and your newer note would disappear. The most recent edit now wins. • The Estimates tab keeps your search text and status filter when you come back to it, instead of resetting every time. JOB TIMES ARE CORRECT Start times on the Jobs list now show in your company's time zone and include the minutes. A 9:30 AM job displayed as "9 AM" for everybody, and displayed the wrong hour entirely for anyone whose phone was set to a different time zone than the office. The Jobs list now agrees with the job detail screen, the dispatch board and the calendar. QUOTES AND PROPOSALS • Equipment quantities are preserved. Opening a proposal that had two units on a line and saving it used to reset that line to one — quietly halving the total the customer had been quoted. • The repair pricebook now shows the price the quote line will actually use, labor included, rather than the raw part price. What you see while browsing is what lands on the quote. SHARED PHONES AND TABLETS Signing out now clears everything from the previous session. On a shared tablet, the next person to sign in could briefly see the previous user's clients, tasks and jobs before their own data finished loading. That no longer happens. CUSTOMER PORTAL • When something fails to load, your customers now get a clear message and a Try Again button, instead of being told they have no service history or no messages. A dropped signal no longer looks like an empty account. • If a message fails to send, they're told. Previously it looked like it had gone through. • Fixed the sign-in screen on smaller iPhones, where the back arrow could end up off-screen and the form could be cut off once the keyboard opened. DISPATCH Reassigning or rescheduling a job no longer appears to undo itself when a background refresh happens to land at the same moment. IPAD The job detail screen now uses the iPad's screen properly instead of stretching everything edge to edge, and job photos lay out in a real grid. SECURITY AND PRIVACY • Hardened how the app handles document links. • Removed permission declarations the app never actually used. It now asks for camera, photo library, location and Face ID — and nothing else. • Removed an internal developer screen that shouldn't have shipped. ALSO IN THIS RELEASE Smoother scrolling on the Clients and Customers lists, better contrast on primary buttons for readability in bright sunlight, and a proper in-app screen when a link points at a job or record that no longer exists — instead of a dead end you had to force-quit to escape. Thanks for the reports that led to several of these. Keep them coming.
