No longer losing data!

I previously gave this app 3 stars due to data loss when my watch would run out of battery and I lost accrued data in those sessions. The developer has addressed these issues, so I’m creating a new review to offset that one, thanks for addressing the problems! Love the app, specifically the gear garage, tack count and the plethora of wind sports to choose from.

Thank you for the feedback – we completely agree that losing a session is unacceptable. Both of the cases that you mentioned have been fixed, including saving sessions when the recording device runs out of power and syncing after longer sessions. We're glad you enjoyed tack counts! Sessions lost

I’ve lost 2/4 sessions so far, so I’ll probably just go back to Strava. The first one got lost when my Apple Watch ran out of power. Strava would save the session properly for sync later but not Venturi. The second lost session was today when I ended my session late after 4 hours. I pressed and held the end session button properly but it never synced to my phone. Data loss is pretty unacceptable to me so I can give this app more than 3 stars, despite how much I like seeing my tack stats.

Exactly what I’ve wanted

I’ve been using other popular session trackers for years and have fully switched over to Venturi. I love the social aspects like courses, leaderboards and being able to see and comment on my friends’ sessions.

Best water sports app, hands down

I’m not a huge app user, but I use this one pretty much every day. I love that it tells me what size to rig, the safety features really help put me at ease when my husband’s doing a session alone, and the social aspect is awesome. Best watersports app, hands down!

There is so much to explore on the app! Helpful forecasts, gear suggestions, networking, session tracking and so much more. I feel like I can really maximize my time, and the features are practical and useful. Every time I open it, I feel like I discover something new and cool!

Venturi is so fun and easy to use

Of all the apps I use for looking at wind and swell, this is the most intuitive. Super fun and easy. And you can see what your friends are up to.

A must-have for wind sport

This is my favorite new app for windsurfing and wing foiling. Really nice session-tracking features. A surprisingly robust weather forecasting feature. A great way to get information about launches, figure out which gear to use and find buddies to sail with.

Venturi is a game changer!

I used to waste so much time checking apps and still showing up to bad conditions. Venturi fixed that completely. The forecasts are spot-on, and I actually trust them now.
You can see who's riding where and get real-time updates from other people at the spot. The spot guides helped me find new places to ride that I didn't even know existed.
Just nice to have everything in one place instead of bouncing between different apps.
If you do any wind sport, this app is essential.

I love the functionality of this app. I have little time to get on the water but Venturi’s forecasting helps me to plan out days in advance when I can get my best session in.

very comprehensive app

You can get so much information all in one app it's been really great to use in la ventana for wind speed, prediction of the weather and chats with other wind sport people. It's been great to use!
