About

Know they're OK today and every day! Verandah turns an iPad or iPhone into a calm day board for someone you love: today at a glance, their medicines, photos of the family, and one big button to call. From your own phone, you see how the day is going. FOR EVERY STAGE OF STAYING CLOSE • Independent and going strong? The board is simply a lovely way to stay connected — the day at a glance, a photo from the grandkids arriving overnight, one big friendly button to say "I'm OK". • When the days start to blur, the board becomes a gentle rhythm: a huge morning-afternoon-evening day clock, today's medicines ticked off as they're taken, and appointments that explain who people are — "Julie (your wife) is coming to see you today." • For someone living with dementia, the scrolling photo frame holds names and memories in place, with captions written by the family: "Sarah and the twins, 2019." Faces stay familiar. Moments stay named. A LOOP, NOT A FEED Everything flows both ways. They tap "I'm OK" or "Taken" — the family sees it instantly. The family sends photos with captions, voice messages in their own voice that play once and vanish, and appointments that land straight on the board. No camera pointed at anyone. A conversation, not surveillance. CALM BY DESIGN No sirens, no guilt. If a medicine or check-in is missed, Verandah follows your family's own escalation ladder: quiet nudges first, then the right people, in the right order, with calm wording. You decide who is asked, and when. EASY TO RUN FROM YOUR PHONE • Set up medicines with weekday schedules and photo call buttons in minutes. • Pull appointments straight from your own calendar — the board stays in step by itself. • Record voice announcements in your own voice for medicine times and greetings. • Share a weekly summary card with the family chat. • Export a tidy PDF care report for the GP or care team — password-protected if you choose, because their details are theirs. • Ask Siri: "I'm OK in Verandah" or "I took my medicine in Verandah." ROLES YOUR WHOLE FAMILY CAN TRUST Organiser, Co-organiser, Carer and Keeping-in-touch roles keep everyone involved at the right level. View-only really is view-only — enforced by iCloud itself, not an honour system. Carers help with the day without editing the medicine list. A family PIN keeps the board safe from stray taps. PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE Your family's data lives in your family's own iCloud — never on our servers, because we don't have any. No accounts to create. No ads. No analytics. No third-party anything. ON THE WRIST TOO The Apple Watch app brings a gentle wrist tap for medicines, one-touch "Taken" and "I'm OK", and a Next Medicine complication. WHAT YOU NEED Any iPhone or iPad running iOS 17 or later. An older spare device works perfectly as the board — nothing else to buy, no hub, no monthly fee. Setting up takes a few minutes, and there's a walkthrough the first time you open it. PAY ONCE One price, upfront. No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no locked features. Set up a board for someone you love in minutes. Verandah — the family day board. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
