A tremendous aid to learning and practising the conjugation of German verbs. If one encounters a problem, it is easy to communicate with the App creator, who responds promptly and is very helpful.

Fantastic
Really great app. I have played with a few of these in German and this one is now my Go To. I am really using it more now as I am coming up to A2-B1 level, and there are a serious number of verbs to keep track of.
Like the fact that it is superfast to rotate - a simple tech feature but slowness in a flashcard system is seriously frustrating.
Excellent ability to manage custom lists from a long installed database - this is the crux of my use of the app, lots of sub-lists divided by whatever resources I am learning from at the time.
Overall an excellent addition to anyone's studies. You can't learn the language using these apps, but they make it very easy to utilize odd 10 or 20 minute slots of time and turn that into highly focused study / revision.
Only 1 quibble is they don't have the option to hide the German infinitive and make you conjugate the verb by using the English infinitive. When you think about it, this is the process you are normally using when trying to speak a foreign language (English - I swam into German ist geschwommen) so this would be a good enhancement for the app.
I hope they add that in an update. But highly recommended anyway.

Universal but displays only as iPhone app
Very disappointed. The app states it is universal, but on the iPad only the first screen displays as universal, everything else (quiz, settings) are ONLY displayed as an iPhone app (i.e. not full screen). Unless you want an iPhone app, look elsewhere.
Good verb quiz program
This is a very good program if you are looking for something to help you practice your German verb conjugation. Beginning students are advised to uncheck many of the choices to avoid being overwhelmed. Much more useful now that conjugations are available for viewing. I use this program like a game when I am idle. It helps a lot. I would consider this more of an intermediate language app. It's a lot for beginners to take in.

Verben is a fantastic app for learning German verbs
I love this app. It is highly customisable to suit what you want to focus on, easy to use, looks good. The developer is very responsive to feedback.
Just ok
Unfortunately gives only a single answer for a given verb. Thus it asks for a particular form for e.g. simple past for third person singular. Doesn't give the entire declension for immediate review. Excellent word list however and is cheap and has potential.
Ein ausgezeichnet App
Simple, effective, available when you have a moment to study, Verben will help you learn your german verbs. The developer is responsive and is improving an already excellent program. To my knowledge, Verben is the best in its class. I recommend it without hesitation.
Good but still needs work
Like Jim Morton, I was hoping for a simple conjugation lookup, and am glad to finally see it in the latest version (2.0.5). One bug I noticed in previous versions was as you go through the quiz, sometimes the screen would come up blank, just labels, no words. Two taps, and the next verb comes up fine. Also, I'm glad to finally see the latest version differentiate all the forms of sie/Sie, but it still gets it wrong, associating Sie with the du/ihr forms instead of the er/sie (plural) forms. I'm looking forward to seeing these fixed; the list and parts of speech of the verbs is exhaustive and the app is good overall.
