Marvelous!
An exceptionally useful (and fun) app for practicing tenses and conjugations.
So many other apps are unforgiving if you start to type a mis-spelling of a word. This app provides feedback in real time as you type: the color of the letter changes depending on whether it’s correct, missing the appropriate accent, or entirely wrong. I’m finding this to be surprisingly effective for my learning process.
Many other thoughtful details contribute to making this stand out:
1. the developer who does not collect any data on you,
2. the customizability of the quizzes (which tenses, do you want to be held strictly to the accents or not…)
3. the explanations of tenses and when to use them
4. the browsable list of words AND THEIR ETYMOLOGY!
5. the stories with words to fill in (I was all too happy to pay to unlock these)
As is, this app stands out in my collection as among the best. If the developer is thinking of expanding upon it, I would wish for two things right now:
1. A chart to enter all conjugations for a particular word’s tense
2. More stories :)
