What's New in Verbik

1.3

July 20, 2026

Two new languages: French and European Portuguese — more than 53,000 fully sourced entries with complete verb conjugations, gender, plurals, frequency labels, and examples. This update also adds more than 10,000 new dictionary entries plus hundreds of everyday phrases and idioms, complete with literal meanings, usage notes, examples, and links to every word in the phrase. Definitions across all languages were re-checked against cited dictionary sources, with clearer everyday English for Hebrew entries, and related words are more accurate. Search now matches Hebrew spelling variants and typed apostrophes, and Russian -ого/-его endings transliterate the way they are pronounced (-ovo/-evo).

User reviews

Helps me remember words

I’ve tried DuoLingo, ChatGPT, and listening to Russian music, but I can never remember the words and their different forms. This app is way better for learning words than manually writing them in my notes app or on flash cards
