Great App w/ Great Support
It does what I need it to do and does it well. The dev is very responsive and quick to address issues. I started out using the free version but moved to the paid version just to support the dev.

Die App ist sehr übersichtlich und reicht für einfache Zusammenfassungen oder kurze Arbeiten vollkommen. Allerdings stürzt sie häufig nach wenigen Zeilen ab, was sehr schade ist, da man sie so nicht wirklich benutzen kann ohne mehrfach zwischendurch neuzustarten.
Plus de rapport de bug !!
Depuis plus d’une semaine, il n’y a plus de rapport de bug quand Le, code bug en mentionnant un problème de connexion Internet, ce qui n’est pas le cas, il faut absolument résoudre ce problème car il n’y a plus aucune possibilité d’améliorer son code Tech sans indication des causes des bugs!!

ottima, ma potrebbe essere impeccabile
sono bellissimi i colori utilizzati per i pacchetti e l’ambiente matematico ecc… da pochi giorni ho acquistato la versione pro per avere lavori illimitati (così da farli girare sul mio ipad) però l’unica cosa non bella con cui ho dovuto fare i conti è l’impossibilità (nel cloud mode) con l’ipad di inserire immagini e altri file che descrivano a pieno i miei documenti in maniera ordinata, mentre invece nella local mode è possibile, d’altronde ho pensato fosse un problema del cloud mode ma accedendovi da un pc qualsiasi posso comunque inserire i file.
Come posso quindi inserire nel cloud mode dei file all’interno dei miei lavori da iPad?

Easy to Use and does a good job
I’m new to VerbTeX Pro so haven’t experienced the deficiencies others noted from years back. I’m using it on an older iPad Pro and have had no problems with articles a few pages long. I haven’t yet used it for large documents but it fits my current need nicely.
FATAL ERROR in the latest version for iOS17
Not found the main folder on the Local Host when you get the latest version. Projects run well but I don’t have my Main Folder anywhere. Export / Import files button on the settings have dissapeared of the main menu of the app.
This is a critical error, I don’t understand how it is possible on a Pro Version of this app.
I feel very sad because VerbTeX is a great app on the and I have supported this job since many years ago… 2016 at least… And I love it, really. Good service for good price… But now is not the same. The evolution on this moment is not good.
Please, write it back my emails to the Verbosus Supoort as soon as possible.

its a well made editor but it cant compete with texifier or even tex writer because internet connection is always required
Works decently well
The Dropbox integration makes it really easy for me to sync my documents between this and my computer. It has worked decently well with the documents I’ve tried with it, although there were some issues at one point where documents I edited on my computer wouldn’t work in this and vice versa but those issues disappeared one day. Overall I’m pleased, although it would be nice if there were more customization options with the appearance of the editor, as well as stuff like more advanced text replacement and macros.

Für unterwegs und zwischendurch
Finde die App für zwischendurch und unterwegs gut, um Gedanken und Ideen zu texten. Allerdings gibt es die „undo“, also rückgängig, Funktion nicht. Wenn ich was lösche, und mich doch umentscheide, würde ich den Vorgang gerne rückgängig machen wollen. Dies ist ja bei Word und anderen Editoren üblich. Warum gibt es diese Möglichkeit bei VerbTeX Pro nicht??!!

This has made my life better
VerbTeX Pro means that I can now travel only with an iPad and be able to write up maths. That's a huge win for me. The editor might seem a little limited for big documents but, if things are synced with Dropbox, you can use any editor you like, so this is a non-problem.

Un eccellente ambiente LaTeX per iPad
Uso VerbTeX Pro da un bel po' di tempo ormai e sto ancora grattando la superficie delle sue potenzialità. L'utilizzo è immediato, molte librerie sono a disposizione, e il ricorso a un compilatore esterno permette di superare una delle grosse limitazioni imposte alle app per motivi di sicurezza. Se per qualche motivo dovessi ritrovarmi a poter usare solo il mio iPad e una tastiera, sono fiducioso che potrei comunque svolgere il mio lavoro senza compilcazioni o difficoltà aggiuntive. Soddisfattissimo!

Bonne application
Globalement, l’application Pro donne satisfaction comme outil auxiliaire lorsqu’on n’est pas devant un ordinateur. Il serait souhaitable, pour plus d’efficacité professionnelle, de pouvoir disposer d’une option SEARCH au niveau des fichiers *.tex dans les projets, afin d’aller à un mot précis sans devoir le chercher visuellement en faisant défiler les milliers de lignes du fichier. Aussi, il arrive souvent que la mise à jour dans la récupération des fichiers déposés dans Dropbox soit-elle beaucoup trop lente et, en tout cas, pas instantanée.

Kompilierung funktioniert, Editor unbrauchbar
Zuerst das positive: Die Kompilierung meines relativ komplexen LaTeX-Dokuments funktioniert problemlos. Natürlich nur mit Internetverbindung.
Nun zum negativen:
Die Bedienung des Editors finde ich allerdings unbrauchbar. Die Inhaltsbasierte Navigation funktioniert bei mir nicht, da ich eigene Befehle definiert habe und viele meiner .tex-Dateien gar keine Kapitel/Abschnitte enthalten. Eine Funktion zum Navigieren in Dateien wäre sehr wünschenswert. Man kann die Dateien mit einem anderen Programm bearbeiten und VerbTeX nur zum kompilieren verwenden, aber das ist doch sehr umständlich und kann auch nicht der Sinn eines LaTeX-Editors sein.
Mit eigenen Befehlen kommt die Autovervollständigung nicht zurecht.
Generell gibt es sehr wenige Einstellungsmöglichkeiten. Z.B. vermisse ich eine Möglichkeit meine Hauptdatei auszuwählen. Außerdem würde ich mir wünschen, die BibTeX Datei deaktivieren zu können, die immer wieder neu angelegt wird.

Nice choice for iPad
Everything is quiet fine but firstly take advantage of the opportunity to use Split View to work with both .tex and .pdf files. And secondly it is really strange but \textit and \texttt don’t work with russian text (babel is used). Fix it please!

Nearly perfect
I feel like the app is NEARLY perfect; however I am missing two things and I wish they would be implemented in future uploads.
First, I really miss the possibility of seeing the pdf and the code at the same time, like you can do in your computer. Refreshing the pdf and being able to see both the pdf and the code is huge for me, so I really would love to see it here.
And secondly, I would love for OneDrive sincronization, as College students usually get free space there with their school account and we use it much more than Dropbox.
Other than that, I love the app. It is a bit expensive when those two qualities are missing, but I believe it can improve and I’m happy I paid for the full version.

Eigentlich super aber
in letzter Zeit sind öfters einige Dateien im local mode komplett abhanden gekommen und wurden durch den default-text ersetzt.

Thank you for your report. The current version 3.0.5 contains a file explorer that lets you manage your files inside the project. The editor contains a content based navigation (based on sections, etc.). You can access it by pressing the book icon on the top right in the editor. Almost superb!
Apart from the fact that one cannot compile Latex documents offline, this app is superb! Add this feature, and the app gets 5 stars!
