About

Verge MCP Browser brings a real iOS browser to AI workflows. Built around the Model Context Protocol (MCP), it lets compatible AI clients connect to your iPhone and use browser tools through a local, authenticated endpoint. Connect a compatible client with the endpoint and API key, then let it: Open and manage agent tabs Navigate to URLs or search queries Wait for pages to finish loading Read visible text and interactive elements as structured page snapshots Click, type, select, scroll, and find content Capture page screenshots Go back, go forward, and reload pages You remain in control. MCP is off by default. Agent tabs use an isolated browser profile unless you explicitly enable regular profile sharing. The MCP service is available through your local network while Verge is active, and every request requires an API key. No account is required. Verge is also a focused everyday browser with: Multiple tabs and a visual tab overview Private browsing Bookmarks and history Downloads Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, or Baidu search Desktop Safari or custom User-Agent support Native iOS WebKit rendering and interaction Use Verge for AI-assisted web research, form interaction, and browser automation while keeping the browser on your own iPhone.

1.3

Added history-based address bar suggestions. Matching browsing history now appears as you type, and tapping a history entry opens it immediately without pressing Return. You can also use the arrow button to fill the URL for editing. History suggestions are disabled in Private Browsing, and private sessions do not save browsing history.
