Rewards for building positive habits
Really useful to mitigate the day to day anxieties
Love this for the day to day!
Unfairly flagged and reward eligibility paused without valid grounds
This is completely unjustified and unreasonable. All my recorded activities and transactions are genuine, everyday financial usages. Unilaterally blocking user reward redemptions after users have actively engaged with the platform for a long time feels like a bait-and-switch tactic to avoid fulfilling promised rewards.
Their automated system incorrectly flags legitimate user activity, and customer support hides behind generic policy clauses. I have submitted an appeal and expect this issue to be escalated and resolved immediately. Very disappointing user experience—be cautious if you expect to actually redeem any rewards from this platform!

Hey, thanks for taking the time to write this. One thing worth saying up front: Vero isn't a rewards platform, it's a money habit app. Rewards are there to celebrate real progress, not to be the main reason anyone's here. Our system is built to spot accounts that look like they're here to farm rewards rather than build genuine habits. That includes transactions that are unrealistically small, like £20 rent or £0.99 weekly groceries logged just to stay under a budgeting challenge limit, or a repeating £ 1 for a KFC meal every single day, which doesn't reflect genuine spending for anyone living in the UK. it can also spot duplicate accounts run by the same person. Every appeal is still reviewed by a real person on our team. Sorry the wait on your appeal has felt long! We're a small pre-revenue team, and everything we build has one mission: helping people who want to get better with money stay on track. If your spending is genuine, your appeal is exactly the right route, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can 💚

Hey — appreciate you taking the time, even if it's a rough one to read. Let's clear it up: the core of Vero — expense tracking, chatting with Verdi for spending insights, and saving challenges — is and always will be free. That's the whole point of the app. If you're here to budget and build better habits, you don't necessarily have to pay. The £4.99 unlocks more of the reward partners and boosted offers for people who want to go further. But rewards were always the bonus, not the solution — a little encouragement for people putting in real effort, a simple particle of our habit loop. And we've kept tangible rewards open to free users too, with more brand partners joining that free tier very soon. Now, on "greedy": we're a small pre-revenue team with a genuine social mission, and yeah, the app has to sustain itself to keep going, like everything else in the world. It's really just there to add a little extra on top for those who want it — never to lock away the basics. Everything we're building is to make Vero better, faster, and more useful for the people we built it for.
