Awesome for busy families
I’ve been searching for something quick I can do with my kids before sending them off to school. This app is awesome! We read the scripture and accompanying message. It gives us something we can all be thinking about as a family throughout the day. All my kids enjoy it, from the 11yr old down to the 3 yr old.

Simple & powerful
I love the simplicity of this app. It’s so easy to navigate. There are verses for each day and for each day you look at a verse, they are saved in a history of previous verses. Then there are topics…lots of topics, each with multiple verses. But my favorite part are the questions asked after each verse. I am not great at asking open ended questions. This really helps me have words questions to ask my kids and myself. Thank you for this wonderful app.

Perfect scripture study for little ones
We have a 4 year old and a 2 year old, this app is just right for our family right now. They don’t have the biggest attention span, so one verse is perfect. I love that it explains what the verse means and has a picture as an example - they are actually getting something out of the verses we read. I can’t recommend this enough!!!

Strengthening Armor on the way to School
We have used this App every school day for over 2 years now. On our way to school my now 9yr old looks at the picture and reads the scripture and details at the bottom and we talk about it. Perfect way to spend the 9 minutes right before school. We already read scriptures for breakfast but, in this world you can never have too much armor. We look forward to our SOTD (scripture of the day). Thank you for helping us with our armor! Such a great App!

Love this app. We have used it for a few years. Every morning before school. My kids are into their teenage years now, anyway you can make a verse by verse teenager addition??? As this one is based for small children more

We have used this app every day for over a year, and I can't say enough good about it or share it with enough people. This app helped our 4/5 year old learn to read! Our then-four-year-old would repeat after me the scripture words, we would pass around the picture and talk about what it was of, and then our older child would read the devotional on the bottom and we would take turns discussing the topic. As our 1YO got a bit bigger, he would help passing around the phone so everyone would have a chance to see the picture. As time went on, the 4YO (now 5) would look at the words as I said them and he repeated. Then he would read most of the words on his own with a little help. Now he is reading everything!! It has been powerful to see his eyes light up when he is able to read and understand the scriptures. We include the LDS Sing Along app with our bedtime routine, and our youngest (2.5) selects the song and I help him lead the music. We love our LDS apps!! Thank you for a wonderful app that helps bring our family closer together and closer to Christ!

I love this app!
This app has been such a blessing for us. My grandson has struggled to read and I have felt that by reading scriptures, he reading ability would grow. But, it was overwhelming for him to sit down with the scriptures. This app has made it fun and easy to get him to read on his own. At first, he would only read short scriptures and I read everything else. Now, he reads the entire thing on his own. I can't sing my praises loud enough. Thank you for a wonderful, kid friendly app.

The worst app I have ever purchased!! So disappointed
For 3.99 you get like 15 scriptures and that's it!!! I seriously want my money back and plan to ask for it! Super disappointing purchase
Love this!
I'm really happy with this app and my kids love it. The illustrations and layout keep my toddlers engaged and excited. When it comes time to answer the questions they get it and are willing to be apart of the family scripture discussion. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because when referencing Christ 'He' should be capitalized and it's not. It's something I wish to see in the future update. Thanks for this! We love it.

No ads for a pay app!! (Yay!)
Changed my review from one star to five. Whatever was causing the ads to pop up on my paid version has been resolved. Back to full use with the kiddos. Thanks!
Ads in a paid for app?
I am very disappointed that ads have started showing up in the app that I purchased. Are you going to reimburse me for my purchase? This doesn't make me want to use your app anymore which is sad because I really like it.

I paid for this app last year so I wouldn't have ads. However, when I updated, I now have ads!! Not happy about this at all!!

Exact Chapter and Verse
I have liked the app so far but I wish you could type in an exact verse to pull up, added to the topics. It would be nice just to see the one I am looking for. But overall a great app!
Perfect Scripture App!!!!!!
I ... Actually, we LOVE this app. You can do the verse/day, past verses or search topics. It has a perfect combination of the Bible and the Book of Mormon. Each one gives you a perfect description of what the verse means and some have questions for reflection afterwards. Honestly, I may even start using this app for myself. Well done Verse by Verse!

Love this app! It has helped our family to remember to have daily scripture study. My kids love the pictures and have asked multiple times to read more!
Solves our Problem
This app solves a problem we have had in our scripture study with our family. Lately, we have been sending our little kids to bed and then start reading the scriptures with our big kids. Now, we have a short scripture study with our little's just before bed. We feel like they get to be involved in the scriptures as we'll. And we still have time to study with out big's. Good work guys!!!

It's not the money worth it!
I am so disappointed! Every day I get the same scripture! There is something wrong with it! The two stars I give because of the big selection of scripture topics and that they provided simple explanation and questions for kids!
