Deep, Clear, and Spirit-Filled Bible Teaching
Pastor Stephen Armstrong is an exceptional Bible teacher. His teaching is clear, insightful, and deeply rooted in Scripture. You can tell he has a tremendous amount of knowledge, and he presents each lesson in a way that is easy to understand and apply. I always finish each study with a greater understanding of God's Word and look forward to the next lesson with excitement. I highly recommend this app to anyone who wants to grow deeper in their faith and biblical understanding.

I have never heard studies so biblically sound yet so rich. God has used Stephen and Wesley’s teachings over the past couple of years to massively grow my relationship with and understanding of Him.

Biblical Teachings
Downloaded the app about 5 years ago. The teachings and other materials are solid and precise. I just wish the app had a dark mode option and would allow to create playlists and favourites.

So underrated!
This is one of the best Bible apps. Pastor Stephen Armstrong is ranked with John MacArthur as among the greats at explaining the Bible. The way these sermons are laid out by the book and go through verse by verse explaining what it says, with supporting information, and yet in a captivating and entertaining way is priceless!
Please don’t stop!
I refer this app constantly to those just learning the Word, as well as to those with an insatiable hunger for the Word!
It saddens me deeply to learn that Stephen passed away before finishing all 66 Books for this app, as he had wanted. But what he DID leave behind is such a treasure trove! I use this alongside my Bible studies, and even do my own independent studies with this app. He does such a deep dive.
Please don’t stop!

Absolutely Brilliant
Highly recommended as it’s easy to use and listen to. I have learnt so much.
Good teachings but no play queue.
I enjoy the resource and the in depth biblical teachings. My biggest problem with the app is that there is no play queue to add teachings or sermons to. Each new session must be started manually which is often awkward and inconvenient to begin a new lesson or study.

Stephen Armstrong is the best Bible teacher I've ever sat under. I listen to verse by verse daily whether im sitting in my chair and especially driving in the car. Wonderful on long trips. This is a gifted teacher of the Word. Ive had hundreds of women download this app. ALL have thanked me!!!

Literally a Godsend
Several years ago I was praying for a right teacher to help me study and understand proper context, modern church services don’t really teach anymore they give you a theme and apply it today but I have always desired to understand the historical context of scripture.. while praying I asked God if there was a such thing as teaching the scripture verse by verse and I was led to search that specifically.. I was astonished when I came across this app and Pastor Steve. I was blown away at how he was teaching exactly what I was praying for. I began sharing this app with everyone I knew who also wanted a solid teaching of the word. I was so taken by how Pastor Steve taught and researched him just to learn that the Lord led me here three months post mortem. I have listened to many of his teachings and still do. I have also studied by the others and am still so thankful that this app exists. Expository teaching of the word is exactly what I wish more churches did and wish I lived closer to this one. Thank you for allowing others to learn honest truth in the word even from far away. This app was literally an answer to prayer.

This is a great app and the guy that teaches his Verse By Verse ministry is by far one of the greatest Bible study teachers I have ever listen to he breaks it down very good for you to understand each first and put it in context

Stephen Armstrong’s teaching is fantastic! Some of the best if you want to deepen your understanding of the Bible. The problem (and the reason for the 3 stars) is with the app. It doesn’t work the way it is supposed to or the way it used to. I have to delete it and reinstall it every time I want it to work. Otherwise it just flashes a white background with the logo and then closes itself and disappears from the screen every time I try to open the app UNLESS I delete and reinstall it.

Awesome App
I’m so glad to have found this app. It is an awesome resource and glad it is available. I downloaded in hopes of supplementing my Bible study and this approach is thorough. There is audio as well as pdf outlines/notes.
Best biblical verse-by-verse teaching
I have been attending verse-by-verse teaching churches for over 15 years, yet the in-depth, contextual teaching from VBVM has revolutionized my understanding of scripture. I have learned so much more about how the scriptures fit together and reveal God and His plans for us than I ever have before. I would go as far to say that these Bible studies are not only worth the time invested, but are vital to understanding God’s word as He intended it.

Excellent app for True Followers. Pastor Wesley is a man after God’s own heart. I tried so hard to help start a ministry for homebound ppl thru this church. I even offered to send 10k to help start it, and to my sadness nobody found it necessary to reach out directly to homebound ppl in order to build up a network. I hope this church reconsiders this idea in the future. In the meantime I hope you learn from the teachings like I have. ✝️
