Great Game So Far!
Verse Roll opens up with a small tutorial, setting the stage of what the player will do progressively throughout the game. With the simple graphics and single movement pad, many would expect Verse Roll to be the regular run-of-the-mill game. I’m glad to say, it is not. The levels are well made and add some form of exploration to beat each stage. The enemy you run away from is relentless and must use all your skills from previous levels to avoid. Lastly, the stages are challenging, but not so that I want to throw my phone across the room in a rage quit. The challenge is balanced with past experiences and knowledge of new mechanics introduced into each new level. Overall, I would like to see where the developer takes this idea, but would say it is a great game so far!
