Awesome way to memorize verses, but issue with opening Bible.
This is a really cool way to memorize verses. I’d like to follow along with the verses, but there’s an issue where the app crashes when I go onto read the Bible. Small issue, but otherwise amazing app and music!!!

The app can be a bit glitchy, in that sometimes songs will refuse to play, and once they don’t play, I can’t ever get them to play ever again. I have discovered that if I download the songs that I like right away, then I am able to listen to them again and again. So I would suggest that folks download the songs they like.

Wonderful gift
This app is a beautiful way to soak in the Word with soothing and beautiful music. Thank you so much for putting this out there. Everyone that plays is so talented. The music is excellent. My only suggestion for improvement is that it would be great to put the text of the root verse (and version), not the lyrical interpretation, but the actual Word, in the main image that shows as you play the song. It is kind of wasted space and sometimes it is hard to understand a few parts of the lyrical interpretation. Thank you! God bless

A great resource but could be better
This is really helpful but it would be much more useful if it showed the lyrics. I first came across this project in a YouVersion devotional and it displayed the verses as the song was playing. I was disappointed to see that is not the case in the app. I am hard of hearing and it is difficult to understand the words. But still, it’s a great resource worth supporting!

I love the app but feel the same way as others. I am a visual learner so I need the lyrics while listening in order to help me learn the scriptures. Thanks for all the artists who contributed to the app. It’s a beautiful way to lean the scriptures!

The YouVersion app showcased your app and I was excited to download. However, I was disappointed to find that none of the verses in your app show verses or a background scenery like YouVersion did. Are you planning on updating app to show verses and beautiful scenery? God Bless!

So stoked to have found this! Have thought for awhile that I wish someone was doing something like this, and yet someone one has all along! Although I’m a bit bummed to find it just has the Bible reference number, but unless you look up the reference separately or listen to the song, you don’t actually know what the verse is. That would be amazing if it would have written verse as well.
There’s often times I look up a topic (depending on what I’m going through or need encouragement with) to find a verse to meditate on and to carry w/me throughout the day, and it would be amazing to be able to look up a song by topic and then see what that verse is without having to look it up separately!
Scripture has always been more powerful to me by reading it, but then it can help cement it and memorize it by hearing it in song. But when I hear Christian song that maybe has lyrics in it based off scripture, it’s hard for me to remember it unless I see them written down first. Thanks! :)

Very cool!
This is a super cool app and the music is great! Verses are already sticking in my head better than me trying to memorize on my own. I found out about this through the youversion bible app and there was a song played there, which had the scripture written out as well, so we could read the scripture as we listen to the song. I think this would be super useful in the app as well, or mentioning which bible version is used in each song. Hearing and reading at the same time is very helpful for me. Awesome app though! :) great work!

Thank you for recognizing the need and using your gifts to create this! Only feedback would be to show the passage being sung. It could be simply posted on screen to read or karaoke style, as you’ve done in the YouVersion Bible app. Well done!

The best music in a simple format easy to use and already helping me memorize verses to a lovely tune. Is there a way to put all these songs on shuffle? Would love for this just to play all day! May God Bless you all!

What an amazing tool for Bible memory!
I love memorising with music because not only does it help me to memorise Scripture. It also helps me to keep the Bible passages at the front of my mind for my meditation and encouragement and also so they're ready for me to use to encourage others.
I'm also really thankful to God for Verses because it's a ministry in which artists are always putting Scripture to music. It's a continuing ministry helping people to memorise Scripture through the use of music, which I think is the most helpful way to memorise Scripture. My prayer is that this ministry would continue for years and even generations to come.
