About
Verso is a photo library organised by tags.
Tag a photo with what is actually in it — Mountains, Receipts, Grandma's
letters — and find it again by asking for the tag, instead of scrolling
through a year of camera roll. Tags carry colours, so a library reads at a
glance. Filter by one tag or several at once, or show only what has not been
tagged yet.
Keep separate libraries for separate things: holidays apart from scanned
documents, work apart from home. They never mix. Everything stays in step
across iPhone, iPad and Mac through your own iCloud, and goes nowhere else.
A library can stay hidden behind Face ID or your passcode, so it does not open
in front of whoever you just handed your phone to. Hidden, not encrypted — the
photographs are stored like any others.
The rest is what Verso deliberately does not do. It will not edit, enhance,
rank or rearrange your photographs. There is no feed, no algorithm and nothing
to subscribe to. It keeps what you give it, lets you say what it is, and hands
it back at full resolution under its own file name.

What's New in Verso Photo Manager
1.1.0
October 21, 2026
On iPhone Duo, opening the phone turns the tab bar into a sidebar, with your libraries listed under Photos and Tags — the way Verso already looks on iPad. Fold it again and the tab bar comes back. An iPhone Pro Max does the same in landscape. When a photo is still coming down from iCloud at full resolution, a small ring in the corner now shows how far it has got. Scrolling through a library no longer stutters while photos sync from your other devices. Improved iCloud sync stability.
