Life saving
There have been multiple times someone will tell me they have given their dog something to eat that I think maybe harmful. I check this app, tell the friend what it says about the food choice & recommend that they download the app. I have used it with my own pets many times when they are begging for a piece of the fruit I am eating. I find out what’s good for them & how much they can have. Highly recommend this app. There is nothing else that compares.

Great app substantively but too hard to see the writing
This app is very handy but the writing that tells the side effects or directions on what to do if the animal has eaten the substance is white on a translucent white background - barely noticeable, let alone readable. I’ll gladly update my rating if a change is made to fix that. People are going to the app for advice and may already be really stressed about their pet getting into food or medication - they want to get either guidance or reassurance fast and not be struggling to read what the app has to say.

A must have for pet owners!
I love this app, it’s extremely useful and I’m so thankful it exists! I’m constantly using it to make sure I can share a bite of my food with my dog. It’s reassuring to know a vet is behind this app and Dr. D is great about responding to requests or additions.

A Few Issues
I keep trying to tap the button at the bottom of the app that lets you request something that isn’t on the list and it doesn’t do anything when I tap it. Frustrating.
