It won’t even let me enter a zip code it keeps going blank after I enter it telling me to enter it !
Unable to set zip code
There is a glitch in the app when you get to the window to find a medical facility and you go to type your zip code it doesn’t let you select set zip code.
Installed then uninstalled
Installed in 1 min, uninstalled after 2. ZIP code failure (very first step) because the keyboard covers the input box and doesn’t allow for input.. (iPhone 17 OS 26.5.1)

Impossible to use
I can’t get past the zip code field. Instead of just allowing you to fill in the zip code in the main page, there’s a pop up, but it obscures the “set zip code” button and no submit button on the pop up. Click outside of the pop up and you’re back at the screen that says “Find nearby VA facilities.” Yes, the same screen that needs your zip code. I found a workaround: after putting your zip code in, swipe up like you’re going to switch apps, but don’t. Then the “set zip code” button appears. It doesn’t help, because at the next screen I get a big “ERROR Key data missing in the map” and behind it you can see where it says no available sites. The closest VA clinic is 14 miles away.

Login via AccessVA just brings up blank window. Please fix.

Not even able to enter a zip code to check availability. Deleted and reinstalled, same issue.
Call Instead
Just call the travel office instead of using this app. It’s probably not the fault of the VA travel employees; but this app is useless. It’s probably due to the fact that not enough people use the app, and the veterans and VA staff are used to handling travel over the phone and/or in person. It’s a shame because the concept is good; but too many kinks to work out. This should be similar to hailing an uber; but it’s so not that. If you need travel, call the VA directly.

Call days or hours before ride
On hold for 10 minutes with no response. Their “Request Rides With Ease” is false.
Limited / Program Error by zip
The app using a NJ zip code only pulls up one facility (Lyons VAMC). Instead of pulling up local clinics, VAMC’s, or Vet Center’s it directs me to out of state facilities in NY, PA, MD, CT! Additionally why is this a separate app and not programmed into the normal VA app?
Must First Sign Up On Browser
1. Browser Search Vet Ride and click VA website, sign into like you would the VA with IF.me or Login.gov
2. Select your usual facility you receive care
It will automatically fill in your information such as address, disability percentage, etc.
3. Download this app, click, I already have an account
4. Sign in to Access VA with usual ID.me or Login.gov credentials
You will then be able to request a ride through this app, which is really simple once logged in

I understand why its rated so low
I downloaded and installed the app without a problem, and I logged in without a problem. I'm a little bit slow in sending you an email when I request a ride. I accepted the terms, and I got a big pop-up with nothing but an error. I went to the App Store to try to contact and get support, and they took me through a webpage, asking what app I wanted them to build. I do not want them to take a nap. I want them to get this app to work.

MFA
While already having account, when attempting to login, an error box pops up, saying that multi factor authorization is required to login, however, there is no field to fill in the MFA number. Essentially, this app is unusable.
Waste of time
Totally useless and waste of time. Inaccurate information and inaccurate contact numbers.
