Gets out of date too soon.
The bot keeps breaking because it’s out of date too soon I can’t turn off bite force because it’s out of date and I’ve only had it for a week and a half used it 8 times IT WONT EVEN DELETE THE APPS DATA WHEN I DELETE IT AND NOW I CANT EVEN ENTER THE CONTROL PANEL ON ANY OF THE BOTS I HAVE THEM ALL, THIS APP IS WASH

The website itself is fine but the robots that the company makes are absolute trash. I got one for Christmas last year and it broke the batteries don’t even last long and it’s not like batteries are cheap anyways and the plastic the use is so flimsy it breaks if you sneeze on it.
Loses Bluetooth connection
This loses bluetooth connectivity every 2-3 seconds. Looks cool. Took a bit to get the front wheels to work. But can’t drive for more than 2 seconds!!!
Need a drone option
I bought the Hex Bug drone and it said to use this app but I downloaded it and no option for it.

Red boxer robot
The red boxing robot won’t connect to Bluetooth
Please update this to fix the off road truck
For Christmas I got the off road truck because it looked really cool. I already built it and I downloaded this app to connect it. It worked fine from there and I was able to connect the truck to the app. But once I start to drive the truck the light keeps on flashing and after like a minute or maybe under a minute it will stop working and say for it to connect again. I know it can’t be because of the batteries because I used freshly new ones and it won’t work. Please update this app if it’s because of this problem.

Ok
The parts were all there and the instructions were fine. I loved the final look, but there was one problem. The Bluetooth wasn’t working no matter what. An error message popped up in the app as soon as I tried to open the pairing Bluetooth page. I don’t know how to connect it and this seems like a common problem. But that is the only issue with the set, but it makes it so you can’t drive the car so it kinda defeats the purpose.

Doesn’t Work
They take hours to build. Lots of excitement to use it...then the app is useless and the Bluetooth doesn’t connect. Needs a major update.
Off road truck is sick!!!
I bought the off-road truck and it took about one and a half days to build. It works really well ,but I wish their was a easy way to get to the steering Motor thing. Also it takes a few times to get the wheels to move. Like refreshing the app and turning on and of the truck. It is still mind blowing how awesome it is to build your own rc car 8/10 reccomend to people who like rc cars.

Boxing bot
After building and downloading the the firmware the boxing bot still does not work. Once it is lifted upright the wheels start turning in opposite directions (clockwise) without touching the controls on the iPhone, falls over then disconnects and shuts off. The vex robot doesn’t connect via Bluetooth on an iPad either.

Love It!
I got the off road truck kit and building it with the kids was fun. Everything fit tight and app remote paired well; and the truck and the app had good responsive connection. Only thing I was missing from the package was the rear differential covering.

It actually works, I just got the wire placement incorrect. But the battery still says 1 bar.
Got it to work!
Initially I could not get this to work, but then I watched a YouTube video “HEXBUG Pro Tips - How to pair your Build Blitz”. This video helped me to pair the toy my son built with an iPhone 8. The app and the race car he built work great.
Fun, if it worked for the off road truck
It would be fun to use, if the turning worked. When you get the device paired it wants to do a software update, and then it does it. But then it makes the robot think that it is a newer version, and the robot controls differently. The instructions are also for the newer version of the off-road truck and aren’t the same, so maybe you guys can make it so you can choose newer or older

Off-road truck won’t pair
I can’t get my newly built off-road truck to pair to the app. I tried many different ways and it won’t recognize it. Any suggestions? I really would like to use it now that it’s built - it’s really cool looking!
