limited function

no saving to google drive and no text base coding. What is Vex thinking?? if their app is not ready, why are they blocking the web verison from ID.

Text coding

Please add text coding

No Text Option Still

This app is basically useless without the ability to actually code anything.

No Text option

There is no option to switch the code from blocks to text coding

Another update, but we still can’t save v5 projects to Google Drive.

Saving to Google drive is a must have feature for me and my students. I can save to every other cloud service but not Google Drive, which is the only cloud service my students have access to.

Life is like a box of chocolates

You will never gonna no what your gonna get

Cannot save to Google Drive

I use this app with my students. We still cannot save to Google Drive. This is a must have feature for us.

No support for the vision sensor on mobile

If people are using an iPad to code their V5 robot and it has a vision sensor (required to use the vision sensor for the build) then they won’t be able to make use of the Vision Sensor. So can you please add compatibility for using the Vision Sensor on an iPad? So can you make the same GUI as on computers on iPad but with a redesigned GUI for iPads?

Love it

It’s a great games for the kids and even the grown ups have a go 🤣🤣

My review isn’t showing up

Very upset with that fact. Haven’t yet tried the game

Needs a lot of work

For starters the app can only connect over Bluetooth and not over usb. you can’t connect to a vision sensor at all. you can’t use a mouse to drag and drop blocks because it emulates a finger tap. when I saved a file and closed the app then went to open it again now I can’t open the file at all. The app doesn’t work in spilt view so I can’t have all of our competition apps open at once. You can’t pinch to zoom in and out. It’s full of issues that make it impossible to use. I would hope the developers of a robotics app would know how to properly program an app.

(Side note, on the android version it has the same issues but when you try to rotate or resize the window the whole app crashes)

Needs to have a typing text function available

No Text Projects?

This app cannot create text projects, but it can open them. It even has the bar on the side where the code examples appear. How difficult would it be to make it so this app can edit a simple text file.
