Veterans Hockey United (VHU) is the official mobile app for VHU members — active-duty service members, veterans, and their families who play hockey across the country. Built for the VHU community, this app brings together: EVENTS - See upcoming tournaments, charity games, league games, and practices in your region - RSVP with one tap — Yes, Maybe, or No, plus "Interested" for tournaments and charity games - Push notifications when new events are added near you - League game roster responses visible to your team - Tap any event for full details: when, where, host, capacity, and live attendee counts CHAT - Real-time team channels for your region and the full VHU community - Direct message any VHU member - Inline RSVP buttons appear on event announcements so you can respond without leaving the channel - Mute notifications per channel when you need quiet MEMBER DIRECTORY - Find other VHU members by region, position, or skill level - Tap a member to see their hockey background and military service - Per-field privacy controls let you decide what you share with whom — important for our active-duty members PROFILE - Manage your hockey info: preferred position, current and highest skill level, jersey number and colors - Upload a profile photo - Update military status and branch - Face ID quick sign-in ABOUT VHU Veterans Hockey United is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that builds community among active-duty military, veterans, and their families through the sport of hockey.
