Why it doesn’t work in Italy?

I have an iPhone 16 pro, I’ve been planning this trip for a few weeks, the app worked in the USA and in Bulgaria, but now I’m in Italy on the trail and when I need the app it keeps crashing. Why?

Necessity for French sections of trail

French trail markers are few and far between. Some areas are marked well but you can go a full day or two without seeing one. This app allows you to know where you are relative to the trial and it saved us from miles of wandering. It also allows you to see where the trail makers are sending you a scenic byway and in conjunction with Google Maps can give you more point a to b when needed.

The app is a must have for anyone doing the Via Francigena. It could be more helpful with accommodation, especially in France. But it’s a brilliant app anyway!
