Mistral.AI’s chatbot costs less than more prominent generative systems, while doing everything they do. I rarely hit a usage limit, glitch, or slowdown, despite using their app and website many times a day, often in long conversations.
The app and website could improve the input area’s clarity, especially when uploading files alongside text. The interface feels cluttered in these moments. Additionally, an option to remove the voice-to-text icon would be welcome, as I prefer using Siri for local dictation to save cellular bandwidth.
The new “work mode” should be dynamically integrated with the “chat mode,” so users don’t need to pick one at the start. Unifying the two modes would also make searching for a past conversation easier to find.
But overall it is a well-built system capable of image generation, image processing, file analysis, data parsing, current events research, and summarizing immense amounts of text (like multi-hour podcast transcripts or digging through literature).
A good app, a very good value.

Brilliant - Works On Old iOS
I originally downloaded this app because it worked with my old iOS. Very French thing I thought as reduces e-waste. Thank you. And from then on I use it and other Mistral models for as much stuff as possible. I am building my first offline system soon, and it will be Mistral. So whether by accident or by design, you have won some loyalty from me. Cheers !

Je lui pose une question il cherche. Je demande exemple la météo ou je suis wow pas capable mais pour la France oui 🤯c’est une IA mais qui fonctionne que pour l’Europe outch complètement cave. Je demande autre chose ouf compliqué. Ok je vais rester avec Claude et Gemini. J’ai voulu essayé mais outch vraiment pas présent du tout.

Интересная нейронка, бесплатной версией пользуюсь. Помогала в колледже с русским языком препод прям пресовал чтобы знали на уровень универа. Потом помогла к генетике подготовиться на 24 билета ответила препод не придирался. И тренировки сделала с помощью этой нейронки. Often not clever at all
Trying to use an ai outside of the dubious choices, however this can be a really dumb chat. It often recommends impossible or non existent options, sometimes completely making it up and lying.
Also trying to get it follow permanent instructions like to stop using grids or translating rules just won’t work, at some point falling apart with stupid responses.
It works for many things, and you cannot expect it to work as well as those with massive funding but it can be extremely frustrating at times.

A MISTAKE
About a month ago, I left a raving review of Le Chat. The new update to Vibe is absolutely horrible. There’s no more image generation I cannot get an image to generate for the life of me. Simple inquiries now take triple the amount of time. And overall there are so many bugs now that it’s essentially unusable.

please add bug report feature. ive already noticed multiple bugs, like how the iphone keyboard stops working when u switch between incognito and regular chatting mode, or how the app sometimes crashes when i select the ai's text.
True European regulatory trash
It's time to say goodbye to you, Vibe, because just like all other European apps, you're nothing but a puppet of regulatory government. I really love the app for the weeks I used and was even planning to buy a subscription, but out of nowhere I got signed out of my account and it won’t let me. Why? Because I use VPN. Haha. Talk about free speech and privacy rights in Europe these days. The app and the entire company should be banned from operating in the US.
