What's New in Vibe Check

V1.6.4

August 4, 2026

What's new in VibeCheck 1.6.4: NEW • Reminder Times Tutorial — a new 6-step in-app guide walks you through standard notifications and alarm reminders, fully localized in all supported languages. FIXED • Monthly streaks now calculate correctly — no more streaks breaking every other month, and Best Streak can no longer show less than your current run. • Manual HealthKit sync works again — the Sync button no longer asks for permission you've already granted. • iCloud backups now appear and restore right after switching to a new device, even before they finish syncing. • The app icon badge updates correctly after restoring a backup, archiving items while editing, and recording future-dated completions to today. • Statistics stay consistent when you adjust a counter's target value. • Items created via Siri Shortcuts now appear in your list immediately. • Widgets refresh on time when a Scenario Group's hidden hours begin or end. • Sharing high-resolution photos to VibeCheck no longer fails on large images. • Reminder times are now capped at 10 per item so removed reminders can't linger as ghost notifications. • Smoother scrolling and faster date switching on the main list and item details. • Tapping the center of a completion circle now registers reliably, plus many small touch-area fixes. • Localization polish across all languages, including ordinal dates and month names.

User reviews

An impressive application

I’ve only had this app for a few days and will leave a full review soon. I’m giving it 5 stars already because I can already see that the creation of this application was a labor of love. The result is a great example of quality programming (as compared with a lot of the junk out there, at the App Store).

This app is definitely not a “toy”, but rather a complex and highly customizable habit tracker (or tasks accomplished tracker). I add that “tasks accomplished” comment because this app behaves almost like a task completion tracker.

A week ago, I downloaded a bunch of habit tracking apps and have been testing them out. Many are not well thought-out and have flaws that limit real-life functionality.
Of about 12 apps, I only found 3 to be well done and reasonably priced.
This VibeCheck app was one of them and while I’m impressed with it, I need some more time to determine how I will use it (I may use it as a quality task completion app and later enjoy reviewing its statistics section).

NOTE: This app is currently being offered for free, only temporarily. I recommend downloading it right now.

Response from developer

A heartfelt thanks from the developer of VibeCheck Hi Jonny0007, Thank you so much for your incredibly encouraging review! As the developer of VibeCheck, hearing that you can feel the "labor of love" behind the app truly means the world to me. I wanted to share that I built this app using a "Vibe Coding" approach—focusing on the flow, intuition, and the actual "vibe" of how we interact with our goals. The idea actually sparked from my own experience as a power user of heavy-duty tools like OmniFocus. While those are great, I wanted something that felt more personal and adaptable to my daily rhythm. In fact, I’ve completely transitioned from my paid OmniFocus setup to using VibeCheck exclusively to manage my own habits and life. Seeing it live up to the standards of someone who tests a dozen apps is the best motivation I could ask for. Since I’m actively "Vibe Coding" and iterating on this daily, your feedback is invaluable. If there are specific features or "flaws" you’ve noticed in other apps that you’d like to see addressed here, please let me know! I’m ready to make adjustments quickly to ensure this remains a high-quality tool for you. Thanks again for the 5-star support! Best regards, Tommy (Developer of VibeCheck)
