Hey Zaq, The advice in 2.0.40 isn't good enough and I appreciate your feedback. Your three criticisms are the same three we've spent the last few months rebuilding around. The core issue has been making the cycle the organising principle. In the version we're finishing now it's one input among four, alongside the research on bids for connection, on repair, and on the invisible mental load a partner carries. Emotionally Focused Therapy, the couples work that actually has evidence behind it. When we ranked those interventions by strength of evidence, cycle prediction didn't come out on top, and thus we have rebuilt accordingly. Concretely, the advice is built from what you've actually told us about her, named specifically, instead of phase generic filler. The engine tracks the type of gesture it last suggested and won't hand you another errand, much of the new guidance asks something of you rather than your wallet. And the phase can shape how something is said, it will never tell you to shelve a conversation or explain her feelings away. That's a hard rule in the system now, not a preference. One correction is that $50 is the annual plan, not monthly. Please email support@ and we'll put you on the new upcoming release. I don't think you'll recognise it. A complete overhaul.
