Vibloom: Life in Your Palm

Thump. Something is alive in the palm of your hand. Vibloom is an app that lets you experience the movements of living creatures through haptic sensations. A cat trembles in fine, lingering pulses, as if it were breathing. A rabbit beats quickly, two pulses at a time. A jellyfish slowly expands, then gently fades away. A turtle moves just one step when you have almost forgotten about it. It is not simply about strong or weak vibrations. It is not simply about fast or slow rhythms. Every living creature has its own unique way of moving. The illustrations and haptic sensations move together at exactly the same moment. It feels as though the tiny creature on your screen is breathing right there in the palm of your hand. ■ Touch It and It Responds Tap the creature, and it answers with a single breath. Press and hold, and it slowly expands as its breathing grows deeper. Swipe firmly, and it responds with a stronger movement. Move gently, and it responds gently. It follows your finger, then springs back with a soft wobble when you let go. Frogs, turtles, fireflies, fish, and jellyfish slowly drift in the direction you tilt your device. You move, and the creature responds. It is that familiar feeling of touching something alive. ■ Meet Nine Different Creatures Frog / Cat / Rabbit / Bird / Fish / Jellyfish / Bee / Turtle / Firefly Every creature has its own haptic pattern and its own place to live. Visit the edge of a pond, the depths of the water, or a quiet field at night. Each background lets you step into that creature's world. ■ Grow Your Collection With Every Encounter Every creature and haptic pattern you discover is saved in your Collection. The date you first experienced each creature is recorded too. When you look back later, you may find yourself remembering a little of how you felt that day. Keep exploring, and creatures you have not yet met will gradually begin to appear. ■ Tell Us How It Felt Cute. Mysterious. Calming. Energizing. A little surprising. There is no correct answer. Simply choose the feeling that best matches your experience. Your answers are used to recommend which creature you might enjoy meeting next. ■ Talk With Someone Who Felt the Same Creature Connect with someone who recently experienced the same creature, or someone who described it in the same way you did. Vibloom lets you have a one-on-one video call with that person. Do not worry if you are not sure how to begin. "Do you like this creature?" "What did the haptic pattern feel like to you?" "It feels like I'm holding a real turtle!" You can bring stories about the creatures around you directly into the conversation. Vibloom also displays conversation prompts to help you get started. It is okay if the conversation does not go smoothly. It is also okay if you feel that you are not a good match. You can leave at any time. Vibloom was designed with that understanding from the beginning. ■ Designed for a Safe and Peaceful Experience ・Vibloom is available only to users aged 18 or older ・You can report or block another user during or after a call ・Once you block someone, you will not be connected with them again ・Video calls are not recorded ■ About Vibits Vibits are in-app points used for video calls and for unlocking certain creatures early. They are not intended to reproduce the actual biological vibrations of real animals. The experience may vary depending on your device.
