Good tone, needs a bit more
The samples are clean and airy, the scale is full range, the swap between hard and soft mallets is nice. But there's no emulation of pedal-controlled decay, and it sadly lacks the vibrato entirely.
Quality
As with other Yuji SS percussion instruments I've tried, Vibraphone has high quality, true to the instrument sound. Touch and response is accurate and quick. At first, I felt the app was often unresponsive, but then I realized I was tapping between the bars. Finger dragging glissando also works well. Definitely worth the price. Feel confident to purchase the other Yuji SS percussion instruments as well (except the wind chimes and harp, which I haven't found to be true to sound.)
