Terrible
Have just set up and installed an E1 Prima Exp… cannot believe the people who can get their machines so right could have an app that is so wrong. Crashing, unresponsive, did not allow for adjustments & the lower half of the Home Screen does not respond to touch. Very frustrating. Please fix these issues VA/Simonelli - your machines are exceptional, please hold the app to the same standard.

Worst app ever?
VA is a lovely coffee machine but the app is THE worst app ever hobbled together. I think the app creators were a bunch of primary school kids given a coding project. It’s had bugs for years, it doesn’t connect most of the time and it never improves. Do not buy a VA machine expecting anything other than a useless app to go with it. I use it only to manage on off timings and even that is nightmarish

Disappointing
I find myself either turning the machine off or restarting the app so I can connect and update settings on the app. Super machine, but the dream of being able to control every element of the machine is hugely disappointing. Really needs work to get this up to a usable and acceptable standard. Victoria Arduino, if you’re selling the benefits of an app that gives you total control of the machine then you need to invest in making this a killer app.

Constant crashing fails to open and then when it does it just crashes
Timer in app does not work
The app has bug that will not allow you to select a start time in the weekly programming . Please fix. When you go to app support it is only in Italian
Great but room to improve
Really clean layout and all the settings the physical button menus provide but in a much easier UI to set and quickly adjust them. Wish there was a bug report or feature request in the app so I didn't have to do it on the review but here they are:
Every time I open the app it asks me to go download the new app (which I am already using). So it's just a wrong notification. (At least the link that the notification takes me to is the same app I'm already in). And a feature request for power a mgmt cycle would be nice. Both a daily "on" time and auto sleep modes would be useful.

Guys get together
This app is not the best to rely on and considering this machine relies heavily on it. You owe your customers the due diligence of making sure it’s up to par. Always crashing!!
Impossible connection
Cannot even connect to the machine far less use it to make settings. Considering how long the machine has been available it’s a sad reflection of the priority put on a stated feature.
Disappointing experience
I have a hard time believing the developers have actually loaded this up on an iOS device and tried to use it. The buttons in the bottom navigation bar don’t even work… This is a seriously disappointing experience for customers that are paying >$6k for this product.

Useless app
Constantly broken making the machine unusable all the time
Unfortunately oversold and underdeveloped
This application is a glorified front end for about 10% of the capacity of the actual E1 Prima espresso machine. It’s an amazing machine but is constantly let down by this application. You use this application to set power on/off/idle day and time. However the E1 doesn’t know timezones so when daylight savings comes around it’s either on or off an hour early or late. And it can only be set by the app.
When the app stops working as it cannot pair to the E1, like what happened with the last app and now this latest version of this app, you cannot control the schedule.
It’s a shame because a critical basic thing of being able to maintain time and a schedule, and it cannot be done properly.
The fact that this app regularly breaks and it’s the only way to control the schedule to me kills the “premium” experience of the entire product.
When the app stops working as it cannot pair to the E1, like what happened with the last app and now this latest version of this app, you cannot control the schedule.
It’s a shame because a critical basic thing of being able to maintain time and a schedule, and it cannot be done properly.

Horrible app
Says download new app but this is the newest app. Doesn’t turn on or off with the programming. Not sure if it’s the same issue as the other user where the clock is off. Really bad experience for the price of this machine.

Latest update with new problems
The latest update (.728) constantly reminds of the new version available although this is installed.

After update, the clock in the machine is off about 9 hours…will not synch up with phone time…this means the programmed times the machine should be on, does not work either.
I have tried logging out, deleting app, reinstalling…which leads to another problem…Bluetooth only “finds” my machine one in 20 tries…so getting the Espresso machine connected to the app is quite labourious itself, add to that the clock issues…

Useless
This app needs a lot of development. It crashes, doesn't find the machine and the functions controlled by the app are minimal. The machine costs £4000 + and deserves better support than this
Sketchy at best
I’ve had my Eagle one for a couple of years now. The app is by far the worst part of the package. It’s really a shame that the app is so rubbish as the machine is pretty good. The app doesn’t seem to get updated or improve ever and it only works if your phone is an inch beside the machine.
Leider seit dem letzten Update down
Ansich war die App seit der Neuauflage wirklich gut und es gab sogar ein paar neue Funktionen. Seit dem neuen Update ist sie allerdings down und kommt nicht mehr aus dem Start-Screen raus…. Schade! Zumal ich gerne mein PreInfusion Settings ändern würde und dies nun nicht ohne die App ändern kann….
