Daily press review

Need more local news. De La Cruz & McGee are doing the work of 4 people - ??? No local Opinion page ? I miss the local curmudgeons duking it out on the Letters to the Editor. Sports reporting is lame. Make the changes or it’s LA Times and Economist for me. Buck GOODSPEED

Great app

I love using app, easy to use with the navigation tools

Great App, Great E-Paper

I’ve been reading the Daily Press for over 40 years, and was a bit skeptical about the E-Paper and app. App is smooth and as always, the Daily Press’ writing staff are fantastic; easy to read unbiased information!

Great job!

Daily Press

For most of my life I have read my newspaper on paper. But, when the Daily Press stopped putting the T V Guide in the Sunday Edition, they offered getting my paper by email. I decided to give it try.
I love it. I don’t have to go outside looking for it, when we travel, I don’t have to stop it, it goes with me, and it allows me keep current on my local news.

Most of the times when I would stop the paper, I did it because I didn’t want everyone to know we were gone, but invariably I would find the papers all over the driveway. So much for stopping everyone know we were gone.
No, I really enjoy getting my paper this way.

PS: I do miss the daily inspiration on the second page. Maybe with Christmas coming, you could start printing it again.

Love it

Thank you for keep this open for us all! Love reading it every morning

Mostly works, with issues

OK as a news app. Paging controls are good, and I like the double-arrow buttons to jump sections. I do not like the details view: when you tap an article, it only occupies the lower half of the screen, requiring a lot of scrolling.

Biggest problem currently is with the current iOS (14.1), the app crashes when you attempt to pinch zoom in on a page. I tried to report the issue at the App Support link in the App Store, but that yields a 404/not found in the browser.
