Stupidly slow update speed
Would love to try out the game but i’ll die of old age before it finishes downloading the 375 mb of files that you will be greeted with upon starting for the first time.

The great game!
Too many crashes
Can’t play
Beware
Pretty good so far
For the struggles this game went through to get here I’m pretty happy with it, would recommend it!
I find it enjoyable, however
However I can see the...um 'Gameplay' loop being a solid turn off for a-lot of players as it in effects boils down to 'equip/repair belles, go into battle, tap the connected circle You want Your fleet to go and if they find a enemy fleet You just watch little circles of the Shipgirls of both fleets shoot at each other.' And that's it, it's good if Your doing something else as well but not much else.
Needs info!!!
Repairs are expensive and random! To repair 2 hp on one ship costs the same to repair 10k on another. I first though it was based on max HP, but no. Some ships with a high HP total are super cheap to repair!
Artwork and voices are great. Battles are not enjoyable.
Response from developer
Hello Lufialunar, Thank you for giving us a try. We would love to know your fleet setup for the level 10 campaign which your level 30 belles lost. Perhaps it is a bug we can reproduce and fix. Repair time can inflate due to critical damage (not just HP) and your feedback will ensure that we better display this info to players in the future. Anyways, we have lots of improvements planned thanks to feedback from the community and hope that you give us another chance in the future. Regards, Black Chicken Studios
The best ship-girl game
Particular and Engaging
Pretty fun for a tired out genre
Fun game. Good graphics.
Excellent take on a CCRPG meets Anime
Beautiful pin up girl game
The game play is simple to understand for a strategy game. Very fun!
There’s actually a game here!
The characters are way more unique in every aspect. I can actually tell them apart whereas shipgirls in other games, are mostly the same. Long hair, bangs, tiny skirts, and other assets (to be polite). It begins to look all the same like you’re collecting clones. That’s fine if you’re into that and want purely assets. But there’s people who want more and VB is shipgirls with substance and assets. Also - and this might scare off some people - it’s one of the few games where I am learning something about naval warfare while having fun.
In terms of gacha, it is probably the least gacha-like in its genre and you have more control of who you want to recruit.
The War is especially fun since they have nation vs nation and alliance vs alliance. Devs have hinted that winning factions influence which characters and campaigns unlock - it’s too early to tell - but I hope this is the case. Go Allies!!
Fantastic Artwork and Art Design
Crappy game
A promising start but needs work
Now that I’ve been playing it for a few hours, those familiar with Kantai will see this is pretty much Global Kantai so take that for what it is. It had potential, I feel, but just needs some ironing out so I hope it gets the support it needs.
For the good. I like the art style and how it’s designed in a pin-up style while leaving the more titillating designs for the paid skins and enemy designs. I like how all the characters are voiced in either their native tongue or in English with accents from their place of origin. I like that the game has a lot of mechanics under the hood so it isn’t always “give big number”.
For the neutral. While I enjoy the languages, I’d really like subtitles/translations since even though I have a novice understanding of French/German it’d be nice to have their words show up. The tutorial isn’t that great and doesn’t got into enough of how the game works such as combat phases, what appears to be special attacks in combat, doesn’t explain a lot of the mechanics, the stats aren’t really explained all that well, neither is how to get resources or the “war” aspect. The story seems to just be “there” but as a lore nerd I hope there are plans to go into the world, belles, and enemies. The art work does need tweaking because while some are great, like Scharnhorst, others… not so much such as pretty much all the npcs.
The bad. Gameplay is pretty set and forget. You don’t really do anything in battle as it’s all done automatically while shipgirls fire at one another. Wouldn’t be to bad but these fights can take some time, not a lot of what happens is explained such as the damage effects outside of some of the very easy to understand ones like fire or flood, and there’s a lot of wasted time since in a map you select an end point, hit end turn, get into a fight, then have to tap to finish the fight, then tap end turn to keep moving when it should be smoother such as tap the location, end turn, and then you move and fight without interruption unless something bad happens like heavy damage.
Review
After nine years in development, hopefully it was worth the wait
