But some of the ads do not allow you to return to the app even tho the ad is completely finished! I use an iPhone.
The current frustrating example is the SONIC ad, after viewing the ad my iPhone does not show a countdown or an X, or “close” or “Compressor” so there is no way to exit. So forced to click on the only button on a black page, marked “Open”, I go to the website linked to the SONIC ad. If I click on the “Compressor” in the upper left of the screen it takes me not to yr App, but the black page with the word “Open” in the center. And again no way back to Compressor, so I must refresh yr app and start again, and if I see SONIC pop-up I bail immediately.
I think the app is worth paying for.
Is that an option?

It works well, but has no instructions!
It seems to be very easy to work, but without instructions it takes a little while to get to that point.

After two years, it stopped working.
This app was FIRE for two years solid. Last night I opened the app to compress some videos like I do almost every day and it wouldn’t open any videos. It has every video in my camera roll as <1kb. Even the 1.5gb movie I downloaded. According to the app, it doesn’t exist. App no longer opens any video to compress. I have to find a replacement pronto because I relied heavily on this app.

Best compression app I’ve found so far and $0.99 is reasonable enough for pro. Totally recommended for anyone searching to save space and x265/Hevc is supported.
Better gif support is the only improvement I can see, it should either support conversion in gif to keep animation or add an option to exclude gifs. At the moment it converts them into static images.
Beyond that it’s really great.

Helped clear out over 30 Gb on storage and ads are super short compared to others.
So So
It works ok but you can’t do batch compression anymore for some reason even after deleting it and putting it back on the phone. It gets about 30 to 50% finish with just two items an freezes then you have to restart the phone for it to function with one hope you can figure that out at some point.
