It does date videos, but messy to use
Sadly, this app is one of those apps that come attached with commercials, without an option to pay a small fee and be rid of them. (Nobody likes adverts. This was the first negative I noticed).
When going to select the video you want to date stamp, they don’t display in order, so you have to hunt for the video you want, using only a thumbnail image of the first frame. Both annoying and time consuming.
Once you’ve dated a video, instead of dating the original, it produces a copy, which is then out of flow in the photo album.
If you select more than one video, it often crashes on the last video.
However, I find the app useful, and these issues should be relatively easy to overcome. I just hope they’re overcome sooner, rather than later. (Please).

Lost my movie :-(
I was recording some illegal activity for court evidence and at about 19secs my phone went into sleep mode, I tapped the screen to wake it up but too late - the video was stopped and the app crashed (froze on ‘processing’ scree)n. Really upset I used this app and not the built in camera now. Not happy.
