Does what it says. I bought an iphone for the first time and while there are many ways to go "ad-less" on andriod, iphones are a headache but this fixes youtube atleast!! Absolutely Worth It

I use it to watch YT videos with my screen off. It works great
Better than youtube, but that’s not saying much
The lag is so annoying when you turn your phone off and try to listen to the video. half the time you’ll spend trying to get the video to play. Sometimes it’ll stop and ill open the app just for the app to completely crash and none of the buttons will work. I feel like the little reload button is just there for show. and sometimes ill open the app to get the video to work again and itll make me reopen yt just to show me another ad. the only thing stopping me from deleting this app is the fact that there’s no other app option BUT yt and at least this app won’t shove 15 different ads in my face before i even pick a video to watch. If youre only using this app on full screen and not to play while doing other things on ur phone it gets the job done👍

Useless download
The reason I got this thing was to down load yt videos
But I couldn’t download anything there wasn’t even any option to download and when I checked the tutorials the download tutorial was in a different format so it didn’t work if you going to say you are a downloader at least let me download something

The worst ads ever experienced in an app
Temu ads are by far the worst offenders. They’re the most invasive ads I’ve ever come across, and it’s not even close.
I have no issue watching ads on the free tier. I understand they support Video Lite, and I’m happy to watch them in exchange for using the app. The problem isn’t the ads themselves. It’s how they’re designed.
After waiting for the ad to finish, tapping the X often doesn’t close it. Instead, it opens the advertiser in another window. In many cases, there’s no way to return to Video Lite without completely closing the app and reopening it. That is incredibly frustrating and feels intentionally deceptive.
Every ad should have a clear, consistent way to close it. A universal X button in the same corner for every ad would solve this problem.
Until that’s addressed, I can’t recommend this app in good conscience, and I’ll be keeping my rating at one star.

After update ads are invasive
This used to be a fantastic app to bypass the insanity of YouTube ads and banners, however after an update they have introduced ads to this app as well, which I thought was fair given it was just one when you first launched the app and that was a good compromise. But that’s no longer the case and the ad now comes back every time you exit the app and re-enter it even if just to check a notification for a couple of seconds. Some Ads are also very long and require multiple clicks to dismiss. This entirely defies the point of using this app to stay clear of annoying ads! Developers please consider reducing the frequency of ads and making them easier to dismiss.
