What's New in Video Teleprompter
2.0.0
October 11, 2026
CueSync 2.0 keeps every take. TAKES Every recording now lands on the new Takes tab, grouped by script. Search by what you said, captions included. Reopen any take and keep editing: captions and trim are right where you left them, and the original is kept. A take is never lost, even if the app closes before you save. ONE MORE TAKE New Take waits under the last line of your script, and the new button in the controls restarts from the top at any moment. CAMERA AND MICROPHONE Pinch the camera window to any size. Over the fullscreen camera, the text adapts its color to stay readable. Pick your microphone right in the prompter. See the real recording quality on screen, and a countdown before auto-stop. ALSO NEW Fixed Speed at a real reading pace, with words per minute and the time left. One reading line for both scroll modes. Word count and reading time before you start. Folders with a color and an emoji, and drag to reorder. 1.5x and 2x preview in the editor. A true black dark mode. MORE IN 2.0 A short guided tour on your first script walks you through the main controls. The first Start asks whether to record video as you read. If another app is using the camera, or the device gets too hot, the camera window tells you why instead of going black. Takes are kept whole even when storage runs low, and connecting AirPods mid-take no longer stops Speech Sync. Flip cameras at any quality, and landscape takes come out upright on both cameras. Plus many stability fixes. SMALLER IMPROVEMENTS Fixed Speed now starts on the reading line and holds for a second before it moves. Settings is a tab of its own, and opening it from the prompter pauses reading and recording. A take's Info shows its resolution, frame rate, size and edits. Deleting a script now asks whether to keep its takes. Custom colors can go back to automatic with one tap. While you record, other apps' music stops, just like in the Camera app.
