Does exactly what’s advertised. Only suggestion I have would be to show how big the file size will be once converted while the settings are being adjusted, so if you’re trying to make the gif under a certain size while keeping as much video quality as possible, you can see it in real time instead of going back and forth between the settings and gif drafts.

Yea it’s a good suggestion. It was tried the first version of the app but the estimation wasn’t very good. The key question is: “can one get the size without going through the compression process?” (…which of course can sometimes take a long time!). Will have to re-explore it sometime later.

I found this app after spending a lot of time researching options that wouldn’t lag asking for money, subscriptions, etc. This is such a simple tool but is effective. Genuinely everything I’ve wanted in a gif creator. I don’t wanna add stickers! I don’t want fancy! I want something that works and this app effectively does that. Kudos to the developer(s) for creating what I’d argue is the best gif app.

Fast and high-quality
A simple, intuitive interface with fast, reliable performance. I found just one issue: the output file size differs by a factor of 2.5 between the same video uploaded vertically and one rotated 90° to horizontal, even though the source video is the same size. Otherwise, it’s a solid five out of five.

I’ve tried quite a few video-to-GIF apps, and this is easily the best one I’ve used. It’s super simple, exports quickly, and the GIF quality is surprisingly good. I really like that I can trim the video and adjust everything without dealing with a bunch of confusing settings. It just works, which is exactly what I wanted. Definitely a 5-star app.

as someone who makes gifs constantly, finding apps that don’t have a paywall that allow you to edit the gif as you wish (fps, size, speed) has been SUCH A PAIN. this app has been such a lifesaver, genuinely my favorite to use now. no ads, no paywall, just making and customizing the gif as you wish! 10/10 :D
