v2.0.0 - A step backwards
The new version of the app is terrible, the updated user interface is a downgrade in terms of ease of use, and reacts much more slowly than before. If another user has opened the gate, there is no way to tell, so if you activate it as well, it actually stops the gate from opening! v2.0.0 is nearly unusable! Please let me go back to the previous version…

Embarrassingly inadequate
Poor layout.Need to attempt multiple times to log in (every time).

Firmware issues
This isn’t a stable app + hardware setup.
I keep the firmware on the handsets and the gate module regularly updated, despite no alerts from Videx any firmware updates are available. My latest firmware update bricked the gate module, which required a physical reset and rolling back to the previously working firmware version. Now I have lost trust in future firmware updates.
The app itself is also poor. Establishing a video link first time is rare during a call, and often audio isn’t working either making this setup unusable.
You can see from the quality of the app itself it’s a bit shoddy and really isn’t up to standards of what you would expect these days.
I may explore the SIP client options instead and see if that gives a more reliable result.

Doesn’t work any more
Used to be poor but stable. Now it just crashes, having lost the functionality to open the gate.

Uninstall and then reinstall worked for me then.
