The aspect ratio is set by the app and there is no way to set it to cover the whole screen
Doesn’t work
Need to add an add on to do anything but not a single add on populated when you put in a URL. No errors or even a submit button or “no results found” or anything like that this UI is day 1 quality.. not even worth it if it was free
EDIT: got adding adding finally but now it just doesn’t populate anything from the addons. This is pathetic at a whole new level and then to charge for this garbage on top of it all? Refund requested, this is 100% a scam

IOS 26 Update
I love the new update!
Causes Burn in
Both the native players on the app causes burn in as there is always grey bars and pointers never go out, tried reaching out to support, no help. Also None of the External player options work except for the paid infuse app
Not much update but it works!
Changing my previous review after spending some time with other competitors. I will say Vidi still beats them all. I am back to using it full time.
If I may request from the dev gentleman; it would really be great if we can resize the screen when on KSPlayer to fill the screen on iPhone.

Aspect ratio issue
Developer is not listening to support emails and not replying to them and not even applying the most important feature to change aspect ratio in any on the internal players name KSPlayer and VLC(Both Internal). I hope someone would read this review and push an update with aspect ratio feature.

The subtitles addons don't work on series, only on movies. Also, the KSplayer is bad for streaming.

Developer acts like he gave this app away for free
Developer has completely ghosted and while that was fine so long as the app was working, and now with iOS 26 there are grave UI problems (search bar disappeared) and it doesn’t appear there will be any update to resolve this. Until that changes, changing my review to 1 star.
Stopped working on Apple TV
Update - App seems to be abandoned, which is fine as it “works”, but it does mean the bugs I mentioned below seemingly wont be fixed.
Turned on the TV today to find all my add ons, favourites and season progress gone. Even when it was working there was still no iCloud sync between iOS and tvOS so setting it up is a pain. It’s a shame as when it’s up and running it’s a great, simple app, but it’s nowhere near polished enough to recommend.

I would not purchase it as there has been no update for 5 months now.
Unfathomable
This app needs some basic user instructions. Right now, you install it and are greeted by an empty app with zero help to understand what to do next. It shouldn’t even be on the App Store until it contains some simple instructions.
No longer supported. There are better options.
Vidi could have been a great app but it hasn’t been updated since 2024. That means all the bugs aren’t getting rectified & the mooted features aren’t arriving. Give you money to apps/developers that are supporting the development of their apps.
Best Stremio alternative!
Works great on Apple TV. Some bugs here and there but definitely the closest thing to a good Stremio experience. Love the catalog sorting and sync features too - the sync is almost instant! Extremely underrated.
