Great App!!
Don’t know what I did before I discovered this wonderful app. And it’s FREE!! All you do is type in the name of the movie you want to watch (or tv series) and this will tell you the platforms on which it’s screening. Or, if it’s available to rent, it will tell you how much. Very convenient. There are similar apps available, but I like this one best. It’s simple. I’ve probably looked up 100 movies, and I’ve only never found one, which was a very obscure foreign film. Plus, it gives a short synopsis of the film, cast, allows you to include on a watchlist, and allows a rating.

Handy tool, but lacking
While Viewfinder has its good points, it also gets its wires crossed often. For instance, it has said Holiday Inn with Bing Crosby has been available on Tubi for past 6 months. Nope. Different movie with same title. Want to alert them to it? You can’t. No working system for feedback. Also, movies like Count of Monte Cristo (2002) or Passion of the Christ…not on there! How?

Useful app
I use this app for a few years. It’s useful to search and find titles and see available services to watch. I’d like new design which lets me to watch trailers and it’s fun and helps me to decide what to watch next.
It lies!
This is now the third time your app has said that the 1998 blade movie is on Pluto, and it’s very much so not. There are many other titles it has gotten wrong, SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many other it has gotten wrong. But this is just frikkin annoying. IMDb now does this, and it’s accurate, and I don’t need an app. Goodbye, and unfairwell 👋.

Not accurate
The first 4 movies I searched for I was excited to learn, according to this app, that they are streaming on services I have. However, when I went to the streaming service the movie was not to be found.
Inaccurate at best. Great idea. But doesn’t give accurate results.
And I could find no place to report it as incorrect.
Searching Google is better.

Actor search stopped working
I’ve tried to fix it by uninstalling and installing again but it didn’t work. Prior to this glitch it was fantastic. Hope they fix it soon.

Inaccurate
Prices for rentals are wrong. Availability of items is wrong. Neat idea tho.
Sometimes you’re great
And other times, your app is annoyingly wrong. This app used to be perfect, never steered me wrong. There is one movie I’ve been trying to watch, idiocracy….. for months your app has said it’s on Hulu and it isn’t at all. There is a load of other movies and shows that I’ve had the same issue with, but this one just really bugs me because it’s been over half a year and you’re still saying it’s on Hulu.

Was useful until it wasn’t
Seemed like a great app to stay up to date on content and to compile and save a watchlist. I maxed out the allowed saves to create a watchlist at 250 titles. I hadn’t used the app for a few weeks and when I opened the app back up to view my watchlist, I only had about 10 titles saved. I’m not sure why it was only 10 or why it was those 10. I had not logged out which it warms you will reset your watchlist. I had only just closed the app. Now I’m out all those titles I had trusted this app to save for me. Not happy and don’t think I can recover the lost watchlist titles.

No digital library support?
I would have like an app like this if it would allow me to search and organize my digital libraries on Vudu, Amazon and iTunes but unfortunately I don’t see any way to view my libraries even though you have switches for these services.
Very poor iPad support
I use my iPad almost exclusively with the Apple keyboard case which means is almost always in landscape mode. Viewfinder does not rotate. If this app won’t rotate on my iPad I have absolutely no use for it. SUPPORT ROTATION OR DO NOT PUT IT OUT FOR THE IPAD.
