About

Vigil is a simple diary for the things you want to do every day: habits, routines, or a spiritual practice. Each day is one screen: tap what you did, add a count, write a note. The calendar shows your months at a glance. Track what matters to you • Add your own items: a check, a count with its own unit, or a note. • Rename, recolour, reorder or archive anything. • Starts with a few ready-made items, like prayer, Bible reading and confession, that you can keep or archive. Stay with it • A home-screen widget ticks items without opening the app. • Reminders at the times you choose. If you have already ticked an item, Vigil stays quiet. Keep it yours • Everything syncs privately through your iCloud account. There is no sign-up and nothing leaves your Apple ID. • Works on iPhone and iPad. • A PDF of any month for your own records.

Vigil is the new name for this diary, with a new look and three things people asked for: • Your own items. Add, rename, reorder or archive anything in Settings → Manage Items. • Home-screen widget. Tick items without opening the app. • Reminders. Pick times for the items you want help remembering. Your history, names and settings carry over automatically.
