Rocks My Amadeus

I fell in love with this little synth app on day one of it’s release! Did anyone else notice how it’s a Moog Voyager in disguise? The frequency split does some really cool stereo-affecty-deeliohoo that trips with my mind. Of course, I paid for it! Now that it unbelievably FREE you’re insane if you have yet to add it to your arsenal of sound making kit. It works flawlessly, has a small footprint, and when using multiple instances in Cubasis, GarageBand, Logic Pro, LoopyPro, etc. you can produce a fully polished composition from kick to sizzle, it’s brilliant. Now GO MAKE SOME NOISE! :-)

Free AUv3 plugin Mono Synth

Great value as free. Presets and other options work in GarageBand but not in Drambo.

Looks fantastic but can’t use :/

Just doesn’t show up anywhere on garageband on my iphone. Very sad…

Viking Synth won’t show up in GarageBand

I can’t see the Audiounit from Viking synth in GarageBand, every other audio unit from your team is working. I got an iPhone SE(2020) so I don’t think my phone is the problem. Please help if you can. Will only rate 3 stars, because your other audiounit apps are good, will change it to 5 if you can help me

Great sound, problems with presets

Using this in GarageBand version 2.3.15 on my iPad Pro iOS 17.1.2

This app is frustrating because it sounds awesome and the presets are amazing, but for some reason the presets only show up maybe 10% of the time I start a new track. The other 90% of the time it just says “default” or “preset” but when I click on it there’s just an empty window where the preset library should be. Sometimes the presets will work on a track but when I click back in to choose a new one they mysteriously disappear. It’s too bad because I really want to use this app but the inconsistency of the preset library is making it untenable for use.

Devs do you have any advice? I’ve deleted and reinstalled, powered on and off: still having the same issue.

Glad to see the auv3 first adopters still giving us presets after all this time !

Kudos would love to see something new I definitely would support!

Viking

It ain’t pretty, but it’s functional.

Doesn’t show up anymore

Downloaded this today and it’s not showing up in the AUv3 menu on Garageband… dunno what happened.

Can Anyone say Voyager?

Tell me this is not modeled on the Moog Voyager. The filter is CRAZY, sound splitting awesome sauce!

Long live Viking Synth!

I've used it on every device since iPhone five through to my 14 Pro ...nearly a decade of use and it still kicks a**!

Good light synth

Awesome for basic synth sounds.. very light on cpu.

A top monosynth

Still one of the best synths on iOS. My understanding is that it emulates a voyager which is not as rich sounding as a minimoog but has a lot more options for modulations which extend it sonically.
I wish there were a more subtle drive mode, but apart from that an almost perfect synth for what it aims to achieve.
There’s a few occasional crashes from time to time but still very usable.
As with all releases by this dev absolute top quality and simple clear interface. Shame that he don’t release more apps, he deserved more recognition that’s for sure.

Killer Bass sounds

Holy crap, loaded this up in AUM and was not expecting to be blown away with a holy grail of bass goodness.

This should be on the top bass synths. Hidden gem for sure,

There are so many presets it will blow your mind and some are giving my mood Minotaur vibes.

Negative reviews seems to be from folks looking for a standalone synth which this is not. You need AUM or midibus.

Versatile FREE monosynth

This synth is can generate gnarly bass tones. It’s my starter bass in my AUM projects right now.
It can do acid tones, but more laid back stiff, too. It has a versatile filter section that sounds great. It’s versatile without being cumbersome. Generally, it’s straightforward and easy to use. AND, every parameter can be automated via MIDI. Pair this with some LFO’s to add some tonal variations and “spice” on repetitive basslines.

One of the earliest AUV3 still holds up…

Nice sounding, simple synth. (By the way, it shows up and works fine in Garage Band on my iPad).

No Presets

Can’t access presets in BM3. Useless app.

Extremely good, now to get working in Logic on Mac M1 as well…

Title says it all really. Love the user interface.

No app

Just an user manual. Hope it will be fixed

Good value for a free app

The app works properly as Au3 plugin, it is easy to use and it has many options. It gives its best with reeses

Update to my review

Found out a way to make it work, guess i was just dumb, sounds pretty good!

What’s happening?

I can’t seem to open this app with GarageBand... I searched up ways to do it on the net, but nothing. Please help.
