Great app - please improve UI
I’m usually not one to make app reviews, but I feel this app needs one.
The UI of Vimtag is slightly anti-user. The main issue I have with it is that there is no dark mode. Someone breaking into your house in the middle of the night? Okay, get eye blasted by FFFFFF. It would just be nice to have the option to change the theme. Otherwise, I’ve had no issues in the 3 years of using it.

App hates iPhone
It was working fine for a few weeks but now it sucks.

Im trying to just go through a video at 2x speed or even faster but their idea of 2x speed is just skipping minutes of recording which beats the purpose of this. I dont even know what is even dowloaded or not and I can’t even delete them like what even is the purpose of this app!!!!!!

Накупил: 4 камеры, регистратор, жесткий, смонтировал все, первый год поработало, потом приложение стало работать только с vpn, а сейчас вообще камеры ничего не показывают, поддержки 0, производитель просто не отвечает, все устройства кирпичи
Horrible unreliable frustrating
I have 3 of these cams and they ALL suck. I just took great pleasure in demolishing one with a hammer after trying for hours to get it to reconnect. Been out of the box less than a month

Update needed
The app will not open on my iPad. I’ve used the app for a while but I need to install it on my iPad and the app will not open. I’ve updated the software on my iPad , download the app, deleted the app and re-downloaded the app etc. Nothing works!
Fix the app
The cloud is showing the previous day, it won’t let me look at the present day footage or save it until the next day.
Always shows previous day 1st
On the cloud storage, the recorded alerts only show the previous day. The camera is set to the correct time and we’ve tried factory resetting, rebooting, logging out, deleting and reinstalling app… always shows previous day recordings. Pretty annoying when you are trying to see a current alert…
Why it keeps blurring
Bro, it keeps blurring everytime 5 seconds 2 devices Can’t connect please fix this bug

These things are weak and constantly loose wifi signal.
Unreliable
Used to work when I first bought it. Now it freezes and I can’t ever view the recordings because they won’t load.
Doesn’t work on iPadOS 26
Prior to my update the app worked fine. Now the app opens but there is no video, just a spinning wheel, though the controls are visible. It apparently hasn’t been updated in 8 mos (as of late October 2025).
Add dark mode for 5 stars
App works fine. Can be a little buggy now and again but over all it’s alright. Just desperately needs a dark mode.

Черный экран на камере уже третий месяц. Сначала вылетело приложение и долго не могла в него войти, потом как-то случайно получилось, но уже камеры были черными. Пробовала переустановку и очистку. Нет никакой поддержки, чтобы можно было связаться. Что делать?

Slow to load
Vimtag has become very laggy in loading. It takes forever to load, if it loads at all. The prior versions worked much better, now its too sketchy. Real Bummer.
