About

Keep the Hijri date alongside your everyday calendar. Vindiqusia displays both Islamic and Gregorian dates in every day cell, with the option to arrange the month by either calendar. Everything works without an internet connection. DATES, CONVERSIONS AND AGE Convert a date from Gregorian to Hijri or from Hijri to Gregorian. Calculate your age in lunar years and see the countdown to your next Hijri birthday. Save personal anniversaries using their Hijri dates. Each entry shows how long remains until its next occurrence, helping you follow dates that move through the Gregorian year. THE ISLAMIC YEAR, EXPLAINED Explore 38 significant dates and periods with explanations, including Ramadan, its final ten nights, Eid al-Fitr, the Day of Arafah, Eid al-Adha, Ashura and Mawlid. Each of the 12 Hijri months has its own guide covering the meaning of its name, what it is known for and whether it is one of the sacred months. The fasting guide identifies recommended fasting days and days when fasting is prohibited. A TIMELINE TO BROWSE Read 71 events from Islamic history, each with a date and a short account. Filter by century to explore a particular period or browse the timeline in sequence. ADJUST TO YOUR LOCAL CALENDAR Hijri dates can differ according to local moon sightings. Apply an adjustment of up to two days forward or backward to align the displayed calendar with the dates observed in your community. Use the month view for a quick check, the converter for a specific date or the reference pages to understand more about the Islamic calendar—all offline.
