About

Most wine programs leak margin in three places. Vinius closes all three. COSTS DRIFT, PRICES DON'T FOLLOW Purchase prices shift with every supplier invoice, but most operators only reprice when they remember to, or when someone notices the margin has quietly collapsed. Vinius applies pricing rules that update automatically with your costs, keeping bottle and glass prices consistent across your entire program. Shift your markup multiplier by 0.1 and the platform effectively pays for itself from the guest check. Most operators recover the cost before the end of the first service week. SHRINKAGE IS THE LEAK NOBODY TALKS ABOUT In a busy wine program, 3–8% of inventory value can disappear through untracked pours, informal transfers, and stocktake variance that never gets investigated. Vinius logs every movement: pours, transfers, purchases, adjustments, as an audited record tied to a specific bottle lot. When something doesn't add up, you see exactly when it moved. Variance becomes visible before it becomes a write-off. ORDERING, WITHOUT THE BACK-AND-FORTH Reordering wine by memory, email, and WhatsApp costs more than the wine itself: it costs the hours your team spends chasing it. Vinius's order management engine watches stock against reorder thresholds you set per wine, turns low-stock signals into ready-to-send supplier order lists, and tracks every order from draft to delivery with full history. Backorders are handled as a workflow, not a follow-up email you hope someone sends. What used to take a phone call and a spreadsheet now takes a tap, so your team spends less time on procurement admin and more time on service. THE LIST IS THE INVENTORY Branded PDF wine cards and digital tablet lists generate directly from live stock. When a wine runs out, it comes off the list automatically. No manual updates between the cellar and the floor. No mid-service surprises. Your staff is equipped with more info to upsell, and your customers get better picks. BUILT FOR SERIOUS PROGRAMS AND SERIOUS COLLECTIONS - Lot-based inventory with full movement history - Rule-based pricing engine (FIFO, LPP, HWM, WAC) with hospitality rounding - Branded PDF and digital wine cards that update from live stock - Order management engine: reorder thresholds, supplier-ready order lists, backorder workflows, full order history - Multi-site and multi-venue support with site-scoped pricing - AI-assisted wine data enrichment, reviewed before it goes live Vinius is invite-only and built for operators, sommeliers, and collectors who run their wine program, or their cellar, like it matters. What's New in Vinius

1.2.3

October 3, 2026

Version 1.2.3 - Faster, smarter scans without a clear vintage. When a label shows no readable year, Vinius now shows tasting notes, food pairings, and serving advice right away instead of a mostly empty page, and automatically picks the best-known vintage for you. - A cleaner way to pick a vintage. "Other vintage?" now opens a simple list of every year, marking which ones are already in Vinius and how many bottles you hold of each. - Quicker actions after a scan. Add to cellar, Wishlist, and Taste are now clear round buttons right under the wine's name. - Wishlist, consistent everywhere. A wine's saved state now matches across the cellar, catalogue, and wishlist screens, and a wishlist wine you don't yet own can move straight to your cellar or open its full detail page (with a confirmation before removing it). - Suppliers, everywhere you buy. Private collectors can now record who they bought a bottle from too, and adding a new vintage now suggests the wine's usual supplier automatically. - Better battery life. Fixed a background connection issue that kept reconnecting every minute and draining battery even when the app was idle.
