About

Vinto! is a card game of memory and bluff for a table of four. Play solo against three computer opponents, or online with people you know. You get five cards face down, and you may look at two of them once. The rest is deduction: what other people draw, what they throw away, and what they are suddenly willing to risk. On your turn, draw from the deck, or take an unused action card from the discard pile. Swap it into your hand, use its action, or throw it away. Then anybody holding a card of the same rank may throw theirs in, and a round can turn in a second. Call Vinto when you think your hand is the lowest. Everybody else gets one more turn as a team, and the lowest of their hands is set against yours. Be right and it pays; be wrong and it costs you. Rounds are short: the kind that get played four times because the first one ended in an argument. Cards 2 to 10 count their number, Jacks and Queens count 10, and an Ace counts 1. A King counts nothing, and a Joker takes one off your total. A hand you cannot see is a hand you cannot price, and that is the whole problem. Eight of the fourteen ranks have an action. A 7 or 8 lets you look at one of your own cards, and a 9 or 10 at somebody else's. A Jack swaps two cards blind, and a Queen shows you two before you decide whether to swap them. An Ace makes another player draw a penalty card. A King names any card on the table, and if the name is right, you play that card's action. Knowing when not to spend an action is most of the skill. The three computer opponents look ahead through possible moves instead of following a script. You can set them to Easy, Moderate or Hard. Solo play works fully offline. The lesson under How to play deals a real round and talks you through your own hand as it goes. You can skip it, and the ? button explains every card at any point in a game. For multiplayer, open a room and send its six-character code. Whoever has the code takes a seat, and bots fill the seats nobody takes. Nobody needs an account, and a friend without the app can play in a web browser. A room can be private, by code only, or listed for anyone to join. Player names come from a fixed list, and there is no text box anywhere in the app. Light and dark themes are both checked for contrast, and nothing at the table is told apart by color alone. Motion can be reduced, the pace can be set from Calm to Brisk, and every button has a label for screen readers. The app is free, and nothing in it is locked. There are no ads. An optional tip in Settings goes to the developer and adds nothing to the game. The app keeps anonymous counts of how rounds are played, without any names. You can switch the counting off in Settings. Vinto! is a card game designed and published by other people, at vinto.game. This is an unofficial app for playing it.

What's New in Vinto!

1.3

October 6, 2026

With VoiceOver, a turned card now says which card it is. Buttons and switches have clearer names for VoiceOver and Voice Control. Text now grows with the largest text sizes in iOS Settings, and labels shrink to fit before they are cut off. When Reduce Motion is on, more of Vinto's animations stay still. The marks and rings under Rules now stand out more from the background, in both themes. The clock and battery at the top of the screen now follow the light or dark theme. Vinto's sounds no longer stop the music playing in another app. After an install or an iOS update, the first screen now prepares its graphics in the background. Some text in the app is shorter and clearer.
