Loved this app till
I’ve been using VinylBox for a very long time and loved it however, starting yesterday I started getting “ please authentic as owner” error with no way to fix it. 😢
Enough is enough.
Enough with the subscriptions already. Can we please get a standalone price for lifetime?
Very expensive for what it is.
App works good enough, but the subscription prices are so high. I’ll be looking for a more reasonable app to replace this one.
My Go-To
Love that it fully syncs to Discogs. I prefer this as my primary app to catalogue/track my collection because the user interface is way cleaner and more intuitive. The occasional/rare minor glitches happen, but still well worth the price for me. Just wish you could customize the home dashboard, data insights, and some misc field features slightly more.

It’s ok, but doesn’t speed things up.
The app works fine but doesn’t really speed up the process of listing items on Discogs which is kind of the purpose.
I think the app could be better designed so thar it better matches that workflow.
I want to identify my version and price it to sell as quickly as possible. At the moment that means digging into listings because the suggested prices are often inaccurate or out of date. Also it should consider sold prices, otherwise I’m stuck with a load of inventory that doesn’t sell.
It’s really a time thing so if they can speed it up I would give it a go again.

No better than Discogs.
This is so basic, nothing to note. Has a few decent features, but really it’s no different than Discogs and Discogs is free. It’s more streamlined and colorful, but definitely not worth the $22 a month. Skip it.

This used to be a reasonably priced app but now it’s over £70 for 12 months WTF!! Won’t be renewing my subscription
needs an option to change the added on date
i love all of the features BUT i’ve been collecting for over six years, and just downloaded yesterday. not knowing that changing it later wouldn’t be possible, all sixty something records are tagged for yesterday

Thanks for your review! Unfortunately this is a limitation on Discogs’ end - there is no ready-made option for a custom “Date Added” field. However, I’m currently working on an update that will enable this, but will require a few extra steps. J’adorais cette app, mais la dernière mise à jour a ôté les 3/4 de mes données renseignées!! Fuyez! C’est une honte absolue. J’ai perdu ce que j’ai mis des mois à renseigner en termes de notes. Au secours! J’ai perdu toutes mes infos

Bugs. Lots of bugs.
So I’ve been supporting this app for a while—and while it’s always been mid when it comes to the scan function, it HAS gotten better. However, there’s been some issues since today 12/04/2025.
1) I was only able to add just a few of my vinyls before the app decided I COULDN’T delete a vinyl I added by mistake. A 404 error kept coming up. Now it’s just sitting in my collection. It’s annoying.
2) the lag on adding vinyls are terrible, and nothing in my categories are saving, even though I’ve tried editing multiple times.
I’ve been using this app since late 2023/early 2024, and I want to continue. However, these bugs have been preventing me from using it right.

Can’t see any picture in the app. No covers, only text. Is it possible to fix?

1st time ever that an application crashes on my MacBook every time „settings“ is selected
Used to work well
This used to work great, now it will close after entering a few numbers and letters or even when clearing the search bar for the next energy. Don’t waste your money. Just use Discogs directly. I will be canceling my paid membership and moving to something that works.
Seems like it would be good but..
This feels like it would be a good app with a good interface and features but whenever I try to do anything in it, instead of actually doing what I want it to do, it just gives me a pop up telling me to get the premium subscription. Like, I get that you need to pay the bills but at least let me understand what you can do before you try to get money out of me.

Doesn’t work
You scan a disc and it says inventoried and then doesn’t show up anywhere? The app is worthless.
Worth The Money!
I have been using this app for several days and am truly amazed at how simple it is to use. Prior to purchasing this app I spent long hours trying to organize my vinyl. This app makes it so easy! I highly recommend it!
Tired of subscriptions
No more app subscriptions, I’d be happy to pay $20 or whatever for full access to the software, everything requiring some kind of indefinite commitment is a terrible idea. Immediately deleting this app.
Paying for the most basic uses of a vinyl collector app.
This app isn’t special and if you want to use any features like just simply adding a vinyl to your digital collection or adding stuff to a wish list, it’s a subscription feature.
