Very pretty!
I love this for my macbook, theres a little tab on the top and so many customizable things to the widget itself. So far love that it isnt like all the other money hungry computer apps it does exactly what I want without extra cost.

Saw this on a Pinterest for things you can add on your mac. it’s as cool as I thought it would be. you can connect it to your Spotify (super easy to do) and then whenever you listen to music it spins. and the theme is related to the music cover. 10/10 would recommend
Keeps switching to “Safari Music”
I use Safari as opposed to Chrome. I don’t know if this problem is unique to Safari users, but every time I play a source on Safari (such as a YouTube video), VinylPod changes to the safari source and gets ‘stuck’ there. It won’t go back to the Spotify app unless I manually change it. Also, the vast majority of the time when I pause Spotify, the same thing happens. It’s marked like “Safari Music” is the selected input source, but it still shows the album cover from Spotify, and the progress bar shows as 00:00 out of -00:00. I wish there was a way to turn of auto source detection, because if it weren’t for this problem, I would thoroughly enjoy the app. Hopefully a fix will come soon, but I don’t know how actively they are updating.

Only two problems
First, what happened to the miniplayer not being able to play browser videos or music.
Secondly, it has a visual problem, I would like to be able to change the interactive button colors and transparency for the Home Screen widget which sometimes, when I have a lighter or darker live wallpaper sometimes I wouldn’t be able to see the play/skip/replay button because it changes to black/white randomly.
other than that it’s all good
would love to have a second widget that I can move which acts as a visualizer and compliments the ui of the Home Screen widget, transparency/color/ resizable and all.

Its good but I can’t figure out how to sync the album cover
I really would like to have this as a widget but no matter how many tutorials and google searches, everyone’ss music just automatically syncs to this app and they have their album covers show. I’ve tried deleting and redownloading but nothing is working, I’ve navigated the settings but I can’t figure it out :(
