It works I guess
System does seem to be working, as for the app, ui layout a mess, doesn’t scale well on macOS, no widget. Huge amount of screen real estate on some glowing icon, no multi user support on one boat, it’s a very basic app but does give us the information we need while away from the boat, please do better on the app a 1st year dev could do better. Also doesn’t seem to be getting worked on. A bedroom project.

Works well on my 45 foot sailing boat
Good product - the VirCru system is easy to install with wireless sensors. The app works well showing the state of the boat and alerting when needed. It is reassuring to know the boat is dry, warm, connected to power, charged batteries, cold fridge and where I left it! I also got good tech support when I had questions.

Effective remote monitoring
Once the hardware is installed, app is very easy to set up. The information is displayed very clearly and it’s very reassuring to be able to check my boat remotely (location, dry bilge, temperature). Could not install the hatch opening sensor on my boat (but that is not a shortcoming of the software). It’s also nice that it automatically records a track on any trip, though it would be even better if the track could be downloaded as a file. My only irritation with the app is that there are too many confirmations- eg when an alert is displayed and I cancel it, there is a superfluous dialog which must tapped (“Information: alert cancelled. Ok”)
