What's New in vireo player

1.1.2

September 18, 2026

Fixes for the newest iPhones, including iPhone 18 Pro Max If you play on a recent iPhone, you may have noticed quick button presses being ignored, and the D-pad feeling imprecise. Here's what was happening and what changed: • Missed taps: the emulator checks the buttons once per game frame. The 120 Hz screen on newer iPhones reports touches so fast that a quick tap could start and end between two checks — and be lost. Every press is now guaranteed to be seen, however quick. • D-pad drift: pushing straight with your thumb slightly off-centre used to count as a diagonal, which makes characters hesitate or turn in many games. The D-pad now works like a physical one — a straight push stays straight unless you clearly press a corner, and it holds your direction steady instead of flickering. Also included: the save-import fixes from 1.1.1.
