Awful ui, never saves progress through listening back. Depletes my battery, makes my phone hot. Only way to listen to Huey Morgan though

Hi Virgin UK, I’m an Englishman in Brisbane Australia and I’m over the moon that I can listen to you on the app especially the breakfast show with Chris Evans. However just recently I’m now being told that unable to listen to any of the shows live. Do you have any idea why or advice to fix it please?

Repeated logging on probs on App.
I listen to Virgin radio via my mobile app.
It was working well until recently when it asked me to sign in from the beginning - username& password.
This may be okay once a year for auditing reasons – but now it’s happening on consecutive days and I can’t be bothered – so Virgin you’ve been deleted – I will miss Chris Evans but let’s be honest. Everybody else are outperformed by other radio stations throughout the day.

Absolutely tanks my battery
Huge Chris Evans fan. Listen daily. Noticed phone battery dropping fast. Used 22% battery in background for 55 mins listening. Contrast with Global Player: 3% for 3hrs listening.

Great content, really annoying glitches
It’s lovely being able to listen to Chris Evans out of digital radio range.
At home I can watch the video, no problems with the picture- though the app thinks there is and every few seconds a message “ video taking too long to load- keep trying?” message comes up in front of the still clearly playing video!
I thought this was the fault of my ancient iPhone 8, but I now have a new iPhone and it’s still doing it.
Please sort it out!

App doesn’t remember where you’re up to in a show
Every time you leave the app and go back into it, it forgets where you were up to in a show. Really poor experience
This app overheats my iPhone and consumes far too much battery power.
Just updated to 55.6.1. My iPhone 16 Pro gets very hot when using the app. It also consumes an extraordinary amount of battery power - way more than any app I’ve ever used.
